How much interspecies rape really exists in the world?

It's Gordon's fault.
"Its like watching a lion raping a sheep, but in a bad way"
Like, I've heard of dolphins raping humans and other fish, but are there any other animals that will rape something outside of its own species?

Whatever, just wash your hands.
I mean, you first have to find out how much interspecies sex is actually happening. With the dolphin thing, I wouldn't be surprised if that was mostly propaganda from Japan. Like they have that one village that has a yearly dolphin slaughter that has really come under fire so I wouldn't be surprised at all if they have been putting out stuff about dolphin rape etc. I think there is a species of monkey that likes to hang out with deer and sex between them isn't uncommon, but other then that I have no idea how common something like inter species sex is.

Um, as a fellow human, it's a bit embarrassing but the number one culprit would probably be humans. Not just fans of White Wolf's World of Darkness or the Skyrim modding community.

(Aaaaand people like to have weird arguments about Roman colosseums and animals trained to rape humans as part of the games, but there is next to no primary sources, and most people end up citing articles that are sourced from one book by a weirdo that made everything up cause weird sex and violence made his book sells better)

There have been reports about elephants raping rhinos.
Videos too. Also, after looking this up I also learned that Sea Otters rape baby seals and end up drowning them, and then keep on raping them.

I saw a video of a monkey using a frog to masturbate once. I'm not sure if the frog was alive at that point, so I don't know if that's technically rape.

Otters are my favorite critter. (While I don't buy it, they reportedly are the only other animal known to play not as a way to hone survival skills but because they like having fun. They would only be more lovely to me if they like raspberry flaky puffs.) I refuse to believe this.

Depending on your definition of "play", lots of animals do that In between eating, things with little in the way of predators to worry about, especially the more intelligent ones, get bored. Often making a nuisance of themselves to others around.

Oh snit. :-(

Well. Not gonna lie. I'm kinda proud of 'em for being able to fight off a jaguar.

I saw a video of a crow that had a jar lid. It was on top of a house roof that had snow on it. The bird would step into the lid and slide to the bottom of the roof. He would then bring it back to the roof top and do it repeatedly. I do not believe it was honing survival skills. It was being like my kids on their sleds.

Dolphins seem to be quite fond of sexual stimulation. I think they're very happy to rub their penises up against just about anything. Realistically, any animal that finds sex pleasurable might be inclined to pleasure themselves in ways that offend human sensibilities. They might often lack opportunity, though, because they're often too busy finding food or trying to avoid a violent death.

Lots of animals have a sense of fun, and apparently do some things for play just to enjoy themselves. Crows, of course, have a reputation as being quite clever (including problem solving and tool use): I don't know how likely it would be for a crow think of that itself from nowhere, but if it's ever watched a human sleighing, it might copy the idea.

If you want to see a bird that seems to have a good sense of humour and play a lot, check out the kea (a New Zealand parrot). They seem quite fun - although they also tend to pull apart and wreck things (like stripping the rubber seals of car windows, etc.).

Thanks, never heard of them before.

Yeah, I mean there are plenty of instances of animals masturbating (usually males) and plenty of instances of homosexual behavior in animals (also usually males), but I think interspecies sex is something different... maybe, I don't know, I'm not sure I want that on my search history.
