So, they just barely started and I already bought some games (although the one I really want is Driver SF for 75% off) so here are my spendings, usually old stuff since most games I wanted I already have (except for that Driver SF, never saw it for 75% off even though the game is cheap as hell as it is):

---------------------------------

Just Cause 2 DLC: Black Market Aerial Pack
0,39 EUR
Just Cause 2 Black Market Boom Pack
0,39 EUR
Just Cause 2 DLC - Bull's Eye Assault Rifle
0,19 EUR
Just Cause 2 DLC - Chevalier Classic
0,19 EUR
Just Cause 2 DLC - Rico's Signature Gun
0,19 EUR
Just Cause 2 DLC - Agency Hovercraft
0,19 EUR
Just Cause 2 DLC - Monster Truck
0,19 EUR

---------------------------------

Batman Arkham City GOTY
5,24 EUR

---------------------------------

Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package
7,49 EUR

(Even though I already had the normal version, the DLC is mostly for the mod tools release to make sure that I have everything that I will ever need)

---------------------------------

Duke Nukem 3D - Megaton Edition
3,39 EUR

---------------------------------

FUEL
2,24 EUR

---------------------------------

ARMA: Cold War Assault

I haven't bought anything yet, I would have picked up bioshock infinite and far cry 3 if they had bigger discounts though.

I have been buying games with the money I earned from trading cards, so $0 so far... Still can't believe people actually pay for them.

Deadspace 1 and Borderlands UVHM dlc. Haven't gone heavy yet, hoping for Deadspace 2 to get on a flashsale.

Aside from that, not really looking for anything and I'm going on holidays in Sept so I should save the money.

So far I've spent maybe ?11. Oops, make that ?16. Kinda bummed that the community choices are for games I either don't want or already have.

$0, primarily because nothing I want is on sale. Just about all of the daily deals, flash sales and community choices are games I would never touch.

I haven't bought anything yet either. I was tempted to think that this Summer Sale was a bit of a dud so far because there's barely been a handful of price/game combinations that's even tempted me.

But then it's a 10 day event with 25 games getting a flash sale every day, so they're going to cycle through 250 games which is a fair chunk of even steam's library and I'm confident that they'll get round to something good soon enough.

(It probably doesn't help that it's mainly older games catching my eye at the moment. I'm hovering on Saints Row 2, Fallout: New Vegas and Stronghold 3 (and Duel of the Planeswalker 2014, FFVII but I don't expect those to go on sale). If any of those go on super sale at any point now I'll definitely buy in

I know right, its like free money for people that dont care about superficial things like their Steam level.

Zero. Was going to get Endless Space, then watched a few videos on it. Doesn't look like my cup of tea.

How does someone go about doing that? Because I don't care about the cards at all and don't know how to sell them or anything.

Nothing, I still have games I bought in last year's sale that I haven't touched at all.

Okay you go to your inventory. Click on item. On the right there's a Sell button, click it. Drag your mouse to the end of the chart, see how much it was sold for recently. You'd wanna price your item 0.01 cents below that if you wanna sell it within 2-4 minutes of posting.

There're two textboxes: Amount Receive and Buyer Pay, type your price in the Buyer Pay box. Click Okay and wait. Your Wallet will be topped up once the items are sold. It will be automatically used when you pay for new games.

50+ so far... I'm not proud of myself. But I mean I would be stupid not to buy Bastion for 2.47 wouldn't I?

7 games for $25. Most of them were just games I had before but wanted on my new PC instead, such as Far Cry 1 and 2, but also I got far Cry 3 Blood Dragon. I also picked up the Duke Nukem Megaton Edition. My favorite purchase so far though has to be Legend of Grimrock. I'm having a blast playing it, and yet it seems so simple. And my last two purchases were Grid and Just Cause 2.

About ?45. Some things I had been looking at for quite a while and some things that were just too good not to buy. Dumped everything in my inventory, just in case I don't play much of it. :p

Dishonored, Civ 5 with Brave New World, Bioshock Infinite, Scribblenauts Unlimited, and XCOM Enemy Unknown. Around $110 US so far. :D Probably all I'll get unless something really crazy comes up.

Nothing at all - there's still games I bought in last year's sales that have gone unplayed for me. I am keeping an eye on the Crusader Kings 2: God's and Kings expansion/DLC though. As for everything else, I think I'll try to control myself.

Bought Tribes: Ascend GOTY Edition, been enjoying the hell out of that.
Other than that i'm waiting for Worms: Armageddon to go on sale and Rogue legacy to get a bigger discount than 10%.
