IT IS AWESOME!!!
i probably don't need to say how sweet it is considering who this is targeting.
but have you come across something so awesome you wonder why the hell you ever discovered it before?

Nice to know someone can come across Dr. Who and find it awesome :D

Well me personally, I hated Greek Mythology with a freaking passion all my life up until last year, when I been hearing talks of God of War 3. I hated the God of War series eventhough I never even played it, but it didn't appeal to me....That was until I bough the Collection for the PS3 and after beating 1 & 2 I fell in LOVE WITH THE SERIES

Then God of War 3 came out and My mind Was not only blown, but stabbed, gashed, pounded and Obliterated at how awesome God of War 3 was and I felt bad for almost missing out XD

Gaston from Beauty & The Beast. What a stud lol. He practically comes out and says what every man is thinking that has ever watched that movie " Whats that women doing out of the kitchen?" LOL

It took me most of a year to discover that Bioshock 2 was actually awesome and people had embarked on a conspiracy to malign it. That's definitely my 'find of the year' so far. Also, I got the same for Portal when it came out - I figured my mind would never be able to wrap itself around the whole portal thing, but when I got it, it was like 'woah'.

Same here. Though unfortunately I've yet to see the third series.

I've also discovered, over the course of this half term, Firefly.

I like muchly.

Warhammer 40k. I had heard about many many times, but it was only about 2 years ago that I actually got into it.

netflix. so far I have watched all of the office, almost done with heroes, amongst other shows and awesome movies I dared to venture into. will someday embark on firefly's and dr. who... but I have enough on my plate already. although I hear heroes goes suck after season 3 but so far I'm already so locked into the characters it doesn't matter.

btw anyone who can comment on that will season 4 make me hate heroes entirely? I'm almost scared to watch it just because it will rob the love it has grown into me. although I do admit it will never be as awesome as that first season how bad could it possibly be to get all this negativity??

While it never again reached the peak season 1 hit, the seasons did improve upon themselves after number 2. They developed the characters well although there were some moments when you had to question the writers, but overall the show improved on season 2 and 3 with the highlight being what they did with Sylar and how deep they made him.

I hadn't seen a single episode of Buffy prior to Season 5, having pre-judged it as a show with no appeal to anyone who wasn't an american teenager or a goth. When I finally did see an episode I was amazed at how intelligent and well written it was, and had the best cliffhangers I'd ever seen (and as a long time Who fan I love a good cliffhanger.)

Jailbreaking.

Yes, it's sometimes called illegal, but actually I've yet to find something illegal about it, it really just allows your iDevice to be unlocked to what I've wanted it to be. I was skeptical at first, because of the dispute over its legality and how Apple will cancel warranty if you Jailbreak, but since my iPod Touch ran out of warranty, I thought "why not" and was happy with the result.

CMX comes to mind. I heard a couple of songs that were played on the radio, but never quite got myself to listen to them untill earlier this year. I was absolutely blown away by their scifi rock opera entitled "Talvikuningas" (translates as "Winterking") and since then they've become one of my favourite bands.
