How to get Morrowind to run widescreen?

I just downloaded Morrowind on Steam, but the resolutions in the options menu don't go above 1024x768. I know it's an older game, but would it be possible to get it to run 1366x768 or even at my native resolution of 1900x1080?

Unfortunately, Morrowind does not have native support for widescreen displays. Fortunately, there is a really good mod you can download to address that issue: Morrowind Graphics Extender [http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/41102/?]. This mod also contains a lot of other graphical improvements, such as increased view distance, anisotropic filtering, anti-aliasing, etc. Alternatively, you could install Morrowind Overhaul [http://www.ornitocopter.net/morrowind-overhaul/mgso-release/], which is a collection of pretty much every non-content mod you could ever want for Morrowind (bug fixes, texture packs, you name it), all in one easy to install package that lets you choose the features you want to install.
