How to wear a bandana if you aren't black?

So basically my hair is long and keeps annoyingly falling into my face etc
But it looks so good that I don't wanna cut it. A bandana would be the perfect compromise but I don't wanna create a white guy with dreadlocks situation where I'm gonna look like a complete idiot or a wigger. Any ideas on implementation of my concept?

P.S. If you're one of those people who're about to comment "just wear what you want, don't pay attention to what others think maaaan" then just don't. You're a hippy and nobody cares about what you have to say.

Bandanas are a black people thing?

Now, always thought they looked a bit silly, can't help with that, but didn't know there was a race thing there.

When I last checked, bandanas weren't exclusive to people of my race. Wear what you want. If the looks not cutting out for ya, keep trying something that fits you.

When I think of bandanas, I think of white bikers...and golden retrievers.

Eh, kinda is. Shouldn't be though.
But like how? Isn't the whole modern push for wear whatever you want kinda the opposite of 'white dudes can't wear bandanas?'
The modern push is pushing against the segregation. I am saying that it is silly to think white people cant wear bandanas, but that there are people who think only certain people can wear certain clothing. Whether its based on race or gender or whatever.

The point is not what but HOW to wear it.
At the moment I'm thinking about going for a Ricardo Milos-esque style.
Don't wanna roll it into a headband because then I could just buy one.

You're going to have to provide a picture of yourself so that we can properly advise you.

If you're a white guy having trouble with long hair have you considered a man-bun?

No? Then quit complaining about your hair. If it's not annoying you enough to wear it in a man-bun or pony-tail then it's clearly not that annoying.

Got a guy at work who wears a bandana most of the time, does it like this [https://raven.contrado.com/resources/images/2018-5/88394/personalised-bandana-282950_l.jpg?auto=compress,format]. Though in his case its to hide his bald spot, with the big bushy beard he's got as extra camouflage, so sort of the opposite problem you have

Bandana is like the cool chef's hat to prevent hair from falling into food, so if anything it's not black but mexican!

(serious answer: just wear the damn bandana dude)
