How's Xenoblade Chronicles treating you?

So, today Xenoblade Chronicles was released in Europe (suck it America), how are you finding the game so far?

I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a massive fan of typical JRPGs, there tends to be too much angst, too much horrible voice acting and it all just plays out like a terrible soap drama.

But Xenoblade Chronicles caught my eye, with it's massive amount of sidequests, British voice acting and a combat system that doesn't put me in a coma (no random battles!).

I'm having massive amounts of fun with it. The characters are likeable, the soundtrack is brilliant, the story is interesting and it's, in my opinion, the best JRPG I've played this generation.

So, fellow escapists, how's it treating ya?

Not treating me at all at the moment. I'm unsure about buying it.
If it's that great I probably will, and it's funny getting something that North America doesn't, so yes, british voice acting sounds nice.

Unfortunately, despite reading all about it in ONM, I still know little about it apart form its main plot.

I'd like to play it. I really would. However I cannot be bothered to get the Wii down from the loft. Maybe when the game is dirt cheap or something but otherwise I'm happy to let this one slide by despite the massive appeal it has for me. A shame really, now if they had done an PS3 version (even if it was just a Wii port) I would be running down to the shops this very minute.

Did you play Final Fantasy XII? It plays like that, except done FAR better.

The maps are absolutely massive, and there's enough quests to last you hours.
