As I write this, numerous battles are taking place over the world. Fiery debates about who is superior, who is the rightful king of all kings. Yes, the console wars are more heated than ever with the latest generation. I myself will not take sides in this [footnote]The PS2 has already won anyway[/footnote]but will instead talk with you about possibly the most awesome game ever.

This may come as a surprise to you, but Nanosaur, one of my favorite games of all time, was originally a Macintosh exclusive for 4 years until it got ported to the PC in 2002. Yes, Macintosh did in fact have awesome games in the past. [footnote] and they probably still would have, had it not been for Microsoft[/footnote]Who knew?
But we are not here to talk about the history of gaming, we are here to talk about Nanosaur. Now, you may be asking yourself "What is this game, and why should I even bother with it?" Well, good sir, I shall answer your questions right now. Although I suggest you hold on to your hats, less you want them to fly away into the air when your head explodes from this awesomeness[footnote]I miss my explosion picture...[/footnote]
You will believe a dinosaur can fly...
In the distant future, human scientists have discovered a way to bring dinosaurs back to life. But, sadly, a plague erupts, killing every single human being on earth. Now, as genetic inbreeding may cause the downfall of dinosaur society, the hyper-intelligent dinosaurs decide that the only way to save themselves is to find other dinosaurs. How will they do this? By traveling 65 million years into the past.
You play as a nameless Velociraptor in tiger-stripes, going around on pre-historic earth trying to collect 5 different colored eggs from 5 different stages, and you must do so before the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs hits the earth. At your disposal you have, get this, a jetpack, and a gun that can shoot lasers in different forms, and even mini-nukes.
Best. Plot. Ever.
This game is freaking awesome. And the best thing is, you don't even have to follow the mission objectives. Sure, you can beat the game in under 30 minutes, but the fun thing is going around the different stages, all of which are integrated with each other so load-times between them aren't necessary, and shoot up dinosaurs with your awesome weapons.

I've played through this game tons and tons of times, never getting tired of it. And how could I anyway, what with it being so awesome that even Psychonauts shrivels before its might. And, since they released Nanosaur: Extreme with the tagline what Nanosaur was meant to be - a total kill-fest, I don't see any reason at all as to why you shouldn't locate this game and buy it. Seriously, you would be doing yourself, and your thirst for dinosaur blood, a huge favor.
