I think he looks terrible. Sorry but he just looks so unrealistic. Mind you I was never big on translating exactly the comic to the screen so meh.

As a thespian though? I am fired up to see him.

Are those symbols on his shoulders the HYDRA logo as well?

They certainly look like they could be, yes.
If the symbols on his shoulders aren't then I would definitely say that belt buckle looks promising.

"I have too picky of tastes to watch movies like these too often, not unless they are technically and emotionally gripping. Yadayadayada, passive elitism, ect" -Me

Son of a- *D&A's credit theme plays*

The Ring must be destroyed if you would see as I see, Mr. Anderson.
I see what you did thar ;)

strange that the most outstanding quote in that was " if you would see as I see " though, considering how less obvious it is compared to LOTR and the Matrix

"The serum changes the person based on who they are inside, so while Captain America became a hero, Schmidt became a monster."

Uuh...

Seriously?
I don't buy it either, but hey... Beggars can't be choosers.

That just means you either have a good memory or a strong devotion to Hugo-ism.

I'm 99% sure that in the comics, the Red Skull got hit in the face with some chemical that turned his skin red and tightened his flesh to the point that his head looked like a red skull. Maybe there's a new Red Skull that just wears a mask or the retconed him (I wouldn't put that past Marvel), but I'm pretty sure that way back when I read comics, he wasn't wearing a mask.
That's his more modern reboot. When he was first introduced, it was a mask.

Not bad. A little over the top, but this IS a villain to a hero named CAPTAIN AMERICA.

And give Elrond some love, why don't cha?
