Just imagine what this could mean in the bedroom, too ;)
Damn your hipnotic avatar to hell, everytime i come across one of your posts i lose about a minute of my life!

OT: This looks pretty awesome, but the whole 'strapping a projector to your shoulder' seems like it would negate not having to carry anything extra around with you. Maybe they could cross this technology with the LED clothing that's available and turn it into a interactive sleeve or something?

mmm I don't think it would be that expensive like a lot of people are saying, it's basically impact sensors, like those in a generic touch screen, only rather then taking location impact it takes vibrations and determines the location of the tap, I could see it being done very cheap and very small.

The expensive part at first would be the screen on the arm bit.

Though I still think the Mass Effect way is better, gloves with force feedback in the tips to give pressure when you tap on a projected GUI (read the codex) or implants for going "bareskin".

OOOOOOH! I WANT ONE!!! I imagine it would be hard(er) to pull of certain games, like racing ones. It wouldn't be as effective as a joystick...

But, still awesome.

It's like a Microsoft Surface, on your arm!

I believe the words, "holy shit, that's awesome!" are appropriate here.

Well, it looks like we're finally getting the future we thought we were going to have. Next step, jet-packs.

Wow. I doubt we'll be seeing it for commercial application in the next 5 years though. They're going to have to shrink it a fair bit.

that would make answering the phone a lot easier while driving. Instead of having it transmitted to your skin, have it transmitted to bare spot on your car's dashboard.

it could also have interesting uses in the world of interative porn. it just needs a force feedback capability.
