Someone help me out. Everyone keeps talking about this Twitter crap and I'm just curious why is it a big deal. What I've found out is it is on your phone but I dont think it is on my cell. Also while you guys are at it, can someone explain how bluetooth works. I would appreciate this alot

Twitter is nothing but your Facebook status bar. Nothing to be amazed about.

I'm not sure how Bluetooth works, but I imagine it works via a highly localized and specialized wi-fi connection.

Twitter is a program that allows for quick, spontaneous postings of short messages to a public profile. I imagine it's designed as way to easily share brief thoughts and insights with the world, but it mostly just gets used to publicize mundane details of your life that nobody needs to know.

As for Bluetooth, it's a communication technology that creates a wireless network between several devices that normally wouldn't communicate with each other, named for an old Scandinavian leader who united several tribes into a single kingdom.

Twitter can be accesed from some mobile phones and from the Internet. Think of it as the facebook status bar, except that it has a 140 character limit.
Personally, I like it. It's nice to see what my family and friends overseas are up to.

Bluetooth is a protocol for connecting two mobile devices via radio waves. Essentially, it allows you to pull information from other Bluetooth-enabled phones in the area, such as their number, and it allows you to send data, such as images, videos, text, etc.
If your cell has bluetooth, try activating it in a shopping and you'll see a bunch of numbers.

Bluetooth can also be used to wirelessly connect a headset to your phone, so when you're driving, you don't have to use your hands to talk (other than to press a button in your ear). At least that's what I use it for.

Never used Twitter, but it sounds horrid.

It's not stock on all phones, but you can sign up for it. It's basically a service where you update your status every 5 seconds with whatever you're doing.
Blutooth works on a radio frequency. It's almost a type of subwave.
