I'm putting my wager on Story/NPC encounter. Maybe mom? The party's all out of spells. Now would be a sneaky time for NPC bosses to screw the party over.Cosplay Horatio said:Nice job killing that grub even with the paralysis powers it possessed. So something is gonna happen as they are running. I call trap cuz new monster is possible but it just feels more like there's gonna be a trap.
Quite. It's why I tend to organise the games, as it means I get to be Dungeon Master.Gildan Bladeborn said:There is no phrase quite so ominous as the DM beginning a sentence with "As you do [X]...", it's pretty much always code for "you're about to get screwed".
I agree. There is certainly much more enthusiasm for it than before. Everyone's always leaning in and showing an interest and genuinely trying to find a tactical solution to any problems they encounter.Lim-Dul said:It seems everybody is much more into it as the adventure progresses. The series is picking up pace with much funnier and more dynamic gameplay. :-D
How is watching them in a context free of nudity weird exactly? It's not like you're physically sitting in the room with somebody who doesn't know you've seen them naked before and would take offense if they found out, you're just sitting at a computer watching a recording of them playing D&D. With their clothes on.Bretty said:Seen one of these chicks naked....
Makes for a weird watch let me tell you!
Hmm, is this one of those times where "if you have to ask..." applies?Gildan Bladeborn said:Also, only one? Huh, now I'm idly wondering if recognizing 4 out of 7 is more than most or not.
Ah, the beauty of the DM smirk, the half warning, half amused tone of saying "Are you sure?" or "Okaaay.". It gets better when you apply it to non-threatening situations: "Are you sure you want to sit at that table?"; "You want to talk with the merchant? Hey, it's your character."Boyninja616 said:Quite.
