Got to admit that I enjoy watching it since I never ever played D&D before and I find it interesting. At the beginning I thought it was going to be more of a documentary of sorts but when I realized (more like explained to on previous threads) what the intent of show was I just took it for what it was. People playing D&D.

Nice job killing that grub even with the paralysis powers it possessed. So something is gonna happen as they are running. I call trap cuz new monster is possible but it just feels more like there's gonna be a trap.

It seems everybody is much more into it as the adventure progresses. The series is picking up pace with much funnier and more dynamic gameplay. :-D

I'm putting my wager on Story/NPC encounter. Maybe mom? The party's all out of spells. Now would be a sneaky time for NPC bosses to screw the party over.

There is no phrase quite so ominous as the DM beginning a sentence with "As you do [X]...", it's pretty much always code for "you're about to get screwed".

But hey, at least they got to kill something! My last gaming session ended without me even entering combat once, though we were continuously taking damage and needing to be revived (it was kind of funny, in a morbid way). I'd have been more annoyed with that, but I kept getting roleplaying XP from it, and my character was the only one that didn't spend at least some time lying on the floor unconscious, so I got to lord it over the other players (who were quite happy to tell me how much I sucked, ha ha!).

I nominate "I know that look" and/or "There are horrible things in that tunnel" as title's for next week's episode. Which I already find myself counting the hours to; Enjoying Justine's Guest star spot much more than Sasha's (not that her's was bad, just that Justine's is better.)

Quite. It's why I tend to organise the games, as it means I get to be Dungeon Master.

I agree. There is certainly much more enthusiasm for it than before. Everyone's always leaning in and showing an interest and genuinely trying to find a tactical solution to any problems they encounter.

What I find most entertaining with this series(yes, I watch it because I'm old, or older than most of you, and a pervert. Cut me some slack; one day, the rest you will be the same) is that these ladies are actually having fun. As a role-player myself, I always find it so fascinating and exciting to see people that I would never expect to be interested in or have fun with role-playing do so. Also, Zak has gotten much better as a GM, in my opinion.

Once again, a very nice episode. But I liked the 10min format better - gives you more time to really play out a scene in the dungeon

I like this series now. The jumpcuts from the first few episodes might be in part due to that they were just learning, and had no idea what to say or do, so it was boring. Now look at them. Waiting to see what happens next, killing grubs and stuff. Feels like were actually getting to know the people, too. Good job sticking in there, Axe.

Dont tell us, RIGHT NOW. That lady gorgon reminds me of the one from Xanth now, lol.

How is watching them in a context free of nudity weird exactly? It's not like you're physically sitting in the room with somebody who doesn't know you've seen them naked before and would take offense if they found out, you're just sitting at a computer watching a recording of them playing D&D. With their clothes on.

Also, only one? Huh, now I'm idly wondering if recognizing 4 out of 7 is more than most or not.

Hmm, is this one of those times where "if you have to ask..." applies? :)

Ah, the beauty of the DM smirk, the half warning, half amused tone of saying "Are you sure?" or "Okaaay.". It gets better when you apply it to non-threatening situations: "Are you sure you want to sit at that table?"; "You want to talk with the merchant? Hey, it's your character."

At first I was a bit disappointed by the length, "Only a small 6 minutes? Well, bugger." but those were minutes were amusing. Zak/Rot Grub fondling with his/ it's arm/face tentacles was a wonderful way to mess around with already disgusted players.
