So basically anyone who expresses puzzelment, critisism,(constructive or otherwise) or any comment that isn't basically confessing a crush on one of the stars of this series gets suspended or probation.
Ok.I get it now.

hehe. Just kidding. I love the show. You girls are awesome.

This is just my satirical idea of what The Haters are probably like. :)
So if I was critical of the show but openly confessed that the stars are attractive would your brain explode with that contradiction.
Alot of the critisism directed towards anyone critical of the series is starting to become predictable. It's actually starting to sound more like second rate pop-psychology.

There's a gentlemanly way to criticize, and then there's just being a hater. The key is don't come in here where we're all looking to have a good time and rain on the parade. I think most of us are reacting to that.

Here's an example of someone being more than gentlemanly with their criticism last week:

Even though I wasn't much interested in this series, I'm still glad to see it's getting fans! I really doubt the Escapist would put up a show that isn't worth watching, but it just wasn't for me.

Good luck on future success!
Opening with the magic words "It's not for me" goes a long way towards defusing any notion that you're trying to tell the rest of us that we shouldn't be having a good time, or taking a jab at the folks who make this show for us. That's fine. As long as you have something else to say, you're probably on the right track. After all, if you just wanted to cast your vote against and leave, well, that's being a bit of a spoilsport, too.

It's possible to be a twit from the fine opening of "it's not for me". You could list the thirty-seven things that all need to be done in order for the crew to change your opinion. You could state with over-the-top fervor the ONE THING YOU CANNOT STAND. Pull either of these moves and you're fooling nobody. But otherwise, sure, there's plenty of room to have opinions other than fawning admiration and still have something to contribute in the forums.

Just be here to have fun with the rest of us, not to pee on our parade. If the thing that keeps you coming back is the dimples in Satine's cheeks when she smiles, that's as valid a reason as any other. Celebrate with us.

I think this show gets better every single week. I have really enjoyed it since Justine started playing, of course Sasha was great too, but Justine just brought so much interesting things into the series.
Loved the negotiations on who gets what beetle.
It is a fun show, and it is easy to see you all have a great time making it, which is probably the best thing about it.
Keep on making it, and keep on having fun, I will definitely be watching it.

Seconding the whole lot of what you said, just b a big quote to copy down.

But I do think some people are getting put on notice for stuff after not much, maybe the admins reading the second comment and putting the noice from the first but like not just in this series but also ZP (although i have a feeling there might have been some history to that) the notice seems to be a bit trigger happy. To quote Voltaire "I don't agree with what you say but I'll defend your right to say it to the death" (slight paraphrasing but u got the point, i don't speak french)

I really shouldn't watch Axe when I'm hungry. First the cookies, now the mac and cheese.

Meanwhile, the bit with summoning the rat - "he may have a disease" - just killed me.
Great, thanks. I've finally decided to suspend my hunger until I wake up in the morning and now, less than ten minutes later I am reminded of my plight D:

Beware the dreaded doombunny!
Amen to that, brother!

I think that bunny is secretly controlling the minds of everyone in the room. Its master plan: to bring the goblin bug riders to life, and use them to set up an unstoppable fast-food delivery company.

There were random bits that were really cool too, like the little history lesson about the weapons the goblins had
If you go to the DM's blog [http://dndwithpornstars.blogspot.com/2010/06/paying-off-enemy-keeping-your-crossbow.html] there is some discussion of the macuahuitl in the comments and a video of somebody chopping off a horse's head made of ballistic gel with it. Super cool. Sometimes as a DM I wish I could stop the action for a little video segment so that everyone's imagination of the combat could match the way the weapons look in my head.

I haven't seen the video yet due to some NoScript/Firefox issues, and I rarely comment on them, because most of my comments would be about the mushrooms or unusual battle tactics.
The mushrooms came out of this entire mushroom-based dungeon level [http://www.megadungeon.net/the-dungeon-level-2b-fungus/], I read it after I saw it in the credits and it was pretty cool.

I think riding beetles is a massive upgrade over riding horses, and liked how Connie's character remembered she was small and doubled up.

That last sentence took me forever to write because I couldn't remember whose player was whose, or who sat where at the table. Do you think for new people coming into the series it would help to make a little gallery with headshots, names, and character names, and use this post from Mandy [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/6.192908-I-Hit-It-With-My-Axe-Episode-Eight-Dont-Tell-Us-Right-Now?page=4#6128117] to explain everything? I missed that post because I started watching too late, and I think it would help people catch right up.

I have a friend that looks an awful lot like Mandy Morbid (who'd Id never heard of until watching IHIWMA, or any of the others in it). Told her to check out the series. She now apparently wants to play D&D.

Justine has quite possibly the greatest jaw on the planet.

To Mr. Wiggles & EddySpaghetti,

I'm just trying to understand....
So, you don't watch the show.
You are very angry that the show was created.
You HATE the show, but you don't watch it.

You like yelling at girls?
Seriously, Why so much hate? None of us girls have done anything hurtful or hateful to you.
Why are you acting like this?
Why would you make fun of my name?

What did any of us do to you?

~ Satine
Too bad he got himself temp-banned, you had him backed into a corner there, poor guy haha.

on topic: I like this show but i don't quite know why, i don't play nor have i ever played dungeons and dragons but i looks like great fun, since this show started i also started reading www.darthsanddroids.net It is the new Star Wars movies told in a Dungeons and Dragons way. I also don't know any of the people and that is fine, people freaking out about their profession are odd. To me they could all be hairdressers or strippers or pornstars.

ps: You signed your posts? haha you must be new to this :p

Don't forget the rat miniature was a bit of chocolate. Chocolate with the possibility of carrying a disease. Next day you'd be rolling fortitude saves. Is chocolate really worth the chance of ability damage?

Anyway, enjoyed the show. I swear, one of my upcoming dnd sessions will have my players encounter some bug riders. Preferably wizards on giant stag beetles.

Satine (and all the cast members over the series), I love that you take the time to reply and that you're passionate about what you guys are doing (which is awesome,) but one of the earliest things I learned in life is that people say shit to get a reaction and a response. While it pains me to urge you to not respond it will hopefully save you the hopeless sense of frustration trying to reason with ****wits. Unique, interesting and fun, keep up the good work guys...

But in saying that it's still interesting to read! haha...

I find it interesting that in earlier videos Justine and Satine were not wearing glasses and now in later videos are wearing glasses.
Not that I'm complaining, as a friend once pointed out glasses = smart = sexy, but I am morbidly curious as to if there is a reason for the change.

To Mandy and Satine, I enjoy the show, for what it's worth. It reminds me of my old D&D days years and years ago. Some people won't like it because of the premise or the content, but who cares? You guys seem to enjoy playing it and there are some of us on here who enjoy watching, so keep on truckin'! :)

Also, I laughed pretty hard at KK's intense expressions this week during battle. She takes her goblin-slaying seriously.

I've been reading a lot of the negative comments and I just wanted to pop out of lurkerdom to give my own thoughts on the show.

At first I just watched it to see whether the girls were actually playing for fun or whether they'd been blackmailed into it, and I was glad (and mildly surprised) to see they were all having quite a bit of fun, even Sasha. It may not have been her cup of tea, but she was pretty up for it and had her moments of newb win. This would have been a major disappointment if nobody had some genuine excitement for dice slinging. Really enjoy all the players at the table. Sadness, I don't think I've seen Mandy laughing as much as the others recently, she seems to have buckled down to being the party support tool and explainer of things (my read). Kim, Satine, and Frankie are freaking awesome, they all enjoy the game a lot and really show that. Loved the, "Die ******," from Kim in this episode, and that one episode with the mushrooms was great all around. Don't seem to see Connie as much as the others it seems, guess she's the quieter one? And Justine is a freaking awesome newbie, hope she sticks around for a while if not becoming a full fledged or recurring member.

Overall Review of the Show: It's actually pretty good and shows signs of picking up tricks to make it better (there's a better word than tricks but I can't think of it. Device that shows the table, game, player's, and mechanics from a lot of different angles??). Anyway, this new episode did some cool things with panning to character sheets, the dungeon map, and such that helped to set the scene. Really liked that, especially the squiggly character sheets with random notes and such on them. Wouldn't mind maybe seeing an episode where the group rated the DM and the last adventure, talked about what they wanted to do next, or see happen, that kinda thing. Early on there seemed to be an idea of having a real world, private time moment with two of the girls on a bed opening up outside of DM earshot or something. It kinda bored me, ymmv. Either which way, it's gone now (at least for the moment) so, props.

As far as goes the house/apartment, I like seeing people in the natural space where they're comfortable at. My apartment has gone the gamut from "museum quality" (real pretty but don't touch ANYTHING) to a grungy pit that eats your shoes if you go in the bathroom. Throwaway Idea: have you guys considered grabbing a chessex map or some such, the leatherette maps with squares or hexes for showing positioning and inking out the battle map? Works great with minis, reaper or otherwise.

And lastly, all the girls are snugglies, let no one say otherwise. And if in some unfortunate twist of circumstances their current bf should meet a tragic and mysterious end, I promise there will always be a fan in the wings to offer cuddly support (depending on current rates on air fare)

Betting it's just easier on their eyes and they do normally wear glasses, depending.

Yah, she's making Zak's job a lot easier. And enabling the other players instead of standing out -- like for example, when she opened up the choice of which spell she should cast to the group instead of picking it herself.
