We were taking the dead body with us because Justine's mum is a powerful city official and may be able to point us in the direction of some resurrection action . Failing that--being a cleric of the city of Vornhiem--I was heading off to my church/temple to tell them all about Justine's mum planning an attack on the city with the Goblins and hoping that my fellow Sister's of Vorn would have some resurrection tips as well. BUT we had to finish our quest--have the charges dropped--show Justine's mum we were successful in rescuing her--first.

Brilliant.
Agreed. This is the Quote of the Year, so far. I didn't see the clash coming between the two PCs but now realize the potential was there all along with the two strong personalities. Along with the Claremont-Byrne days of the X-Men being probably my favorite comic ever, the use of three little words capturing so much really made the moment. Bravo, Zak, Bravo!

Actually, the audience grows every week.

Less people troll now, though, and it's trolls that make the comment count spike.
Guess thats the only use a troll has got.

You should throw a couple of trolls in later on for the crack. Everyone loves to fight trolls :D
Ok:

All the gurls ar ulggy and theyre not real pron stars either and they dont know how to play D&D like Will Wheaton (Who fuckn made Star Trek rad!) and I kno because I hav been playng since 1993 an have a 34th level Soulblade/LEaffinder also the DM sux bcuz he dosnot let them do what they want and also he is a big pushover an lets them do whatever they want and the escapist should stop exploitating me with breasts because i am more mature than that also the music is too metall! Why metaL? Also:you are gay! And why are they in aparatment insteado f a black void like the official Wizzards dnd show? black voids rule! Yet another great episode, lots of hilarious banter between everyone, the party finally makes it back to the city, couldn't ask for more.

Just out of curiosity, what happens to Satine's new character if her old one gets resurrected? Does she get to play two characters at once or does one of them kind of get a story made up about going off and doing something else?

You forgot to use the staple of Internet insults against attractive women, "vapid."
Usage example: 'Man, look at these ditzy women try to add dice rolls together. Ha, like they can add numbers! They must be vapid whores because everyone knows that intelligence is inversely proportional to looks.'

That one cracked me up too. I think that came from the cameraman. Hopefully Satine will give us the artist's rendition of her new character also.

I thought I'd chime in with why I generally don't care for the show: I play D&D in my spare time. If I'm going to watch people sitting around the table for a session, I'd prefer it be my own game, since watching someone else's is usually rather boring. That's the only reason I don't care for IHIWMA. That being said, I really think the Escapist has been misleading concerning these videos "D&D with porn star" is going to attract a crowd for the wrong reasons, not because of silly D&D banter.

I love Satine RPing in character.
I love Connie's analysis of why her PC has an alcohol problem.
I love KK fishing.
I love MM offering supplies to the new, and clearly traumatized PC, as a sign of good will.
I love Frankie's rejection of silliness and remembering about the eye.
I love Justine remembering the mission and staying somewhat on task.
I love Zak for rolling so expertly with all the madness this group throws at him.
Word. Were I capable of that much love, I'd be right there with ya'. As it stands, all I can do is defend cool people with the power of my abundant hate. You are a cool person.

Now that's some good wit all around. Seriously. And there's really very few proper reasons to bring up Cyclops...ever...and this one's at the top of the list. Had to back to show up three times to see what the hell was going on after that 'cause I couldn't stop the chuckling.

Well played Sarge. Thanks for the clarification. And at this point in the game (having heard the exasperation pouring out of you more than once now) I can understand you not wanting to bother with organizing the inmates. Again.

Never came from humor alone, but that got me close. It sounds fun, I know, and it would be if I didn't have to go to work now. But on an earnest note, you just made me realize that if reality series ever had a purpose it was to bring about a show such as this that would allow for the exhibition of your writing efforts. I suppose that's ironic element 1,573 of our beloved program here. Now if you'll excuse me I need to go gush with the rest of the third shift and see if we've made any headway adapting a Warden to 3.5 rules.

You also forget to give your characters name, xxSepiroth Drizzt Alucardxx. (He's too cool for an xxx rating)

This type of oddballness is why I play D&D. It's not about saving the world, it's about shooting snow leopards, fishing and streaking.

This show is real great now. I'm really loving it actually. The quality has spiked massively since the first couple of episodes and I'm really happy I watched again.

Ohlawdy, this first adventure is taking for ages. I wonder if the second is gonna be as epic, especially over how many levels they'll probably gain at the end!

If you read this post, you should really post up the character sheets, it'd like to see them.

It's only been 3 1/2 sessions, actually.

I have a questions, and it may be a little out of left field.

Why is the pig wearing an Uncle Sam hat?

Dead Kennedy style anti-government sentiment? Random acquiring of trinkets that just fell into place? But most likely, "This is silly!"

Because he likes it. His name is Ping Pong Von Laserstien. We rescued him from the roof of a burnt down taco stand.

Connie's earring got a lot cooler to me when the camera got close enough to show it spiraling through her ear instead of hanging.

I missed the part where they got back to town -- must have happened just before they decided to start streaking. From the audience perspective, we could have used an "establishing shot" of Vornheim with a little description.

Satine made up one of the more interesting character introductions I've seen - quite dramatic. As a sexy halfling bard, I'm gonna imagine her character as looking like Lulzy from Shamus' LotRO comic here on the site [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/columns/shamusplays/6993-Shamus-Plays-LOTRO-Part-1].

That's pretty much how it works really. (And the whole Prof X/Captain Picard/Spock type of guy really turns me on, so y'know Zak makes me happy.)
