Man, those mushrooms and tiny assassins are quite creepy, in a fucked up fairy tale way. Neat. And now I'm curious which other entries (that we haven't seen yet in the series) of Zak's blog will show up in IHIWMA.

Kinda expected to see Gia Jordan play a bit more of her character, but I reckon that will come up in upcoming episodes.

Well we appear to have the start of a new session, a change of venue, a new guest star who must have been fairly late as she didn't seem to get any in game time this episode (plus it was mentioned at the start), I guess it must have been one of those days where real life gets in the way of starting the game going.

Connie you have some most excellent gloves, I bet those must be really fun to use on Halloween, not to mention that you seem to have a nice house and a swanky looking glass table.

Hurrah, the front of Zak's head! The tattoo on the back of your scalp is cool and all but it's nice that you can have some real screen time too. :)

I was wondering where we were going with the collar, leash and stimulant mushrooms, all of a sudden vornheim's more upmarket club seemed to turn in to an S&M dungeon. Although ewwww a homonculus crawling out of an eye sounds rather grim.

Frankie you seem to have shrooms for every occasion, that's one trippy character you have there. :p

anyway, thank you all for making the middle of the week a more entertaining place to be.

(oh and the first 12 seconds has no sound)

Loving the series so far.

I do have one gripe though... Medusa was a Gorgon... Gorgon being the name of their race and Medusa being the name of a Gorgon.

.... A midget in your head? Opening your eye ball like a front door? .... I wonder what the rent is like?

I agree, it should really be a gorgon, but I think Medusa is now so synonymous with being a Gorgon that it's become acceptable for her name to be used in place of her race. In much the same way that the vacuum became the Hoover.

I must admit though until you mentioned it I had completely forgotten. Good spot.

Also, this is D&D, and monsters in D&D aren't always what they are in Greek myth. In D&D the snake-haired woman is called a medusa, whereas a gorgon is a sort of mechanical bull. Yes, a bit lame, I know. ;)

New player 'porn fucker' Gia Jordan seems nice.

I love the clothes btw, everyone always has such eclectic dress sense on this series.

Wait, so who was walking around in the background then?

Gia Jordan looks a bit disinterested in the whole D&D thing. Although she seems witty, so maybe it'll balance out. It always saps the energy out when somebody is visibly bored (especially if their audibly bored =P)

Well that was creepy, though the effect is somewhat spoiled on me because it makes me think of Men In Black and my brain goes off on a tangent. Still, deflating heads and eyeball doors are definitely up their in the ole 'nightmare fuel' list.

First of all, welcome Gia. Nice to meet you. Secondly I didn't really watch this episode as I have just got back from the pub. So after a few bears I found myself mostly watching Connies uper torso (awsome top) and wondering how she got skeleton hands? Whats worse is my gf noticed me watching Connies top and punched me square in the face. Gonna have to watch this episode again when I am aloud out of the cupboard. I did like Zaks recap intro, and would like to suggest that there is one of thoes every few weeks. Sorry about the spelling. Look very much forward to watching it sober. :)

Gia wasn't late--she didn't get a lot of screen time in this episode because the party is split and everyone is off doing different things. It would have been too confusing to switch back and forth in such short episodes--so much happens to us all. So what you're seeing is the Connie and Frankie dealing with their assassin part of the session.

I always wanted to watch a D&D session to see if it is something I might want to try. And this is a much better alternative compared to the sessions of LordKat. There are two reasons for that: #1: LordKat and Spoony and the rest are playing a digital version, which is not as cool too watch as this one with the miniatures. #2: LordKat and the guys aren't goodlooking females.
After watching the show I really want to play the game! Or maybe I should reinstall NWN...

Loved how at about 6:10 in, just as Zak is describing the little homonculous--- as he said "little beasts that crawl into peoples heads" the chihuahua was walking up behind the girls. :)

Had to look up how to spell homonculous, btw. AD&D MM1, pg 53, for any who are interested in that level of detail.

I just liked that Zac just had the mushroom miniatures there if one of the characters got high...or when.

Very interesting little beasty, as well as the intro to our new guest! Loved the bit at the end talking about Frankie's vampire love story/death ritual thing :)
