Yay me! I got something right for a change, between that, me making a Cottage pie for my wife and I to eat later and cleaning the skirting-boards I'm doing well today. (I'm easily pleased)Feystar said:From Episode 24 thread- I'm thinking there's an ulterior motive underneath the carnage that's coming, I'd say a few hundred feet underneath actually. I'm wondering if all of this is so she can read the wyvern that's under the city.
Nah, they still have the goblin army and the skeleton army marching in the direction of Vornheim. Though the goblins might be delayed by the forged message. The PCs will probably be charged or involved with the defense of the city. Which will be some kind of mass battle. Zak is experimenting with different rules for such battles (Hit his blog is you want to know the details of them.).ThaBenMan said:Ah, the joys of looting your newly defeated foes. Good stuff.
And excellent idea to forge the letter, Connie! But, uh, not so excellent execution of said idea...
So that kind of seemed like the end of the campaign?
I noticed that she is rather quiet. Out of the guest stars, I like Justine the best so far. She was really into it.TheKara said:Maybe its just because she joined the game really late but is it just me or is Gia almost non-existant?
Yeah, I have to say that that is one thing that has never happened in any of my games. Of course, I game with mostly guys and the girls aren't really "girly" girls.chepenoyo said:"What size is she?" - That was my favorite bit of this episode. Especially KK's "I'm a size 6, but an 8 when I'm raging."
Zak mentioned it in his most excellent blog http://dndwithpornstars.blogspot.com/2010/05/snakes-are-books.html it's also worth subscribing to the I hit it with my axe facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/I-Hit-It-With-My-Axe/394132172089ezeroast said:So how exactly do you read a wyvern? Do you nee a massive one of those readers or do you just cut the wyvern down into little strips?
I don't know if she's played before, but most people new to RPGs--maybe expecially D&D because of the daunting amount of knowledge for the game--are relatively quiet. And in this group, there is no shortage of active players so it's easy to coast.TheKara said:Maybe its just because she joined the game really late but is it just me or is Gia almost non-existant?
I think Gia is a first time player. So she is probably not really used to it and/or is holding back a little bit out of fear of doing it "wrong". So she is kind of observing what/how the more experienced players are doing it. Kind of normal for a first time player.0over0 said:I don't know if she's played before, but most people new to RPGs--maybe expecially D&D because of the daunting amount of knowledge for the game--are relatively quiet. And don't forget, Justine was given a more plot-centric starring role for her character.
It's interesting how the highs and lows in tempo occur in a game. When I've DM'd, I've always felt a little pressure in the back of my mind to keep things going at full speed all the time, even though I realize that without some downtime, full speed doesn't mean anything.
While Neverwinter Nights is based on D&D. 3.5 rules if I am not mistaken. Playing Neverwinter Nights and D&D are two pair of different shoes.Neferius said:Okaay ... so this is D&D.
I think I'll stick with Neverwinter Nights thank-you-very-much!

Which is kind of funny, because I figured that persons with her kind of job would be a lot more outgoing. But I guess porn actors/actresses are just human, too.
Also: I think they play like 6-8 hour sessions, out of which we get to see like 10 minutes, so... yeah maybe they had to cut out some stuff where she was more active? Don't know.
