Say what? I'm sorry but you seem to be dismissing pretty much all your own statements as "I used that as an opening". Apparently if you use it as an opening people are not allowed to call you on them anymore?

Well whatever, thanks for admitting your own statements weren't accurate/true/representative of your point then I suppose. :D

Out of curiousity, if all those things weren't really what you meant, what are you actually trying to say in a simple short sentence or paragraph?

My only remaining complaint is the camera guy focusing on Sasha when she is uber bored(or tired idk which) cause it makes me bored as well. go to frankie or the dm, watching someone be bored or tired isnt entertaining.

I honestly don't understand the level of vitriol this show seems to generate - granted, the editing at times seems a bit spastic, and the first episode was kind of boring because nothing had really happened in the game yet, but everything else? It's people playing D&D! Honestly, I get the impression all the complainers expected something radically different, perhaps something like sketch comedy or whatnot.
Just wanted to quickly pipe in on this because it's been under my skin for a while.

I myself love listening to people play D&D or any tabletop RPG for that matter. What gets my goat (No) is that I have the inkling suspicion that the show's intended major draw (at least initially) is found in the flavor text on it's main page:

Featuring adult film performers Kimberly Kane, Zak Sabbath, Mandy Morbid, and Satine Phoenix, with a stripper named Connie, and a hairdresser named Frankie comes a reality web video series chronicling the adventures of a dungeon master and his stripper and porn star friends playing old school D&D. Guest-starring Justine Jolie.

What does being an adult film performer, stripper, or just being involved in the porn industry have anything to do with playing D&D? I might be curious to know what the player's own stories are about if I find them particularly interesting at playing the game, but other than that I really don't care. Repeating that same information in the first vid's description and spending a minute of the first three giving more details doesn't make we want to care. It just gives the impression that this is about the outside lives of the players rather than what they are actually playing.

So, in other words when your show's banner ad reads "D&D with strippers and porn stars. On video. Wednesdays at the Escapist" it's a safe bet that everything from the players to the camera work to the color of their shirt is going to come under fire, because they've fostered an image that is sexually suggestive and tailored to the porn crowd and brings in those of the opinion "Tits or GTFO".

My 2 coppers anyway.

It does not matter if they are from X job, what matters is who they are.

Is that simple enough? How about x job has no barring on y tabletop game? Is that one simple?

Sorry I have not been on for a bit, so I am a bit mellow and jet lagged and want to sleep. ^-^ proposed to my love two days ago! (sarcastic yay/happy yay)

Certainly, we've all already established long ago that what matters is who they are. My question is what is your problem with accepting that being adult entertainers is for several of these people probably part of who they are and what do you find objectionable about mentioning that they are adult entertainers as part of the show's premise?

The show is obviously not just about the DnD, it's about the people who play it and how they interact as friends while playing. So what is your problem with being provided with more information about them?

I never really got into Dungeons and Dragons. I have always wanted to play it but the only problem is that I don't have enough friends to actually a D&D game with.

What is it about the show that some people have a problem with?
