I Just wanted to say that I want to thank-you fellow Escapisees for being the most vibrant internet community I've ever experienced. Everyone here seems genuinely nice, and you all seem tolerant of each other.

I haven't posted much here, but I browse like crazy, and you guys all add a little smile to my monotonous day with your witty, clever, and often profound musings and comments.

This all sounds a bit silly but I'm just damn impressed at how un-dick'ead like everyone is.

Aww, this is the sweetest thing I've read all day. :3 Which is saying something because in Art History we discussed Mary of Burgundy and all of the men that pursued and courted her...because she was the sole heiress of a kingdom.

But really, I'm glad you find us worthy of praise. I think I agree with you, too. All things considered, this community seems to be significantly more...mature than others I've been a part of. Not serious by any means, but polite and able to see limits.

Well, I don't know to what extent I've contributed to your experience, but you're welcome!

I'll be honest, I feel the same way about the community here. Every now and then, we may have a troll slip through the net and make a nuisance of themselves on the site, but it isn't usually long before the mods get hold of them, and clear them out, and so they must be thanked for playing their fairly large part in maintaining the good atmosphere on the site.

OT: yeah, this is one of the more reasonable forums i've seen. the only one i frequent that's as reasonable or better is my old FFXI and WoW guildies...but considering those are a smallish group of people who have played together for 6 years, i guess that's to be expected.

Well we are a bit snarky and elitist but overall i think we do a good job of not bashing each other even though we have different views.

Also everyone seems to be at the same wavelength when it comes to humour, which is great! Keep up the good work everyone.

Well, the forums are heavily moderated, so that might be why.

Personally I don't enjoy the forums that much though, I usually only come here for the other content and perhaps some posting on here when I'm bored. I just find that it's too strict around here and that people take stuff a bit too serious, so I visit other forums more often than this one.
