I need gaming suggestions

Friend and I are looking for a new game to play. Co-op is mandatory. After that, it gets a bit trickier. She loves competition and PvP and all that sort of stuff. She wants the best weapons, the highest stats, et cetera, and then she wants to inflict them on other people. I... do not. I hate PvP, and in EQ1 I leveled my DE SK to level 36 wearing a cloth cap because all the armoured helmets I found made her look stupid. Stats don't matter to me, PvP doesn't matter to me, I play for the enjoyment of playing with other people.

This has made MMORPGs rather hard to settle on. I wouldn't mind suggestions in that field, but I won't hold my breath. If you can suggest some non-MMO RPGs, that'd be great. Though she is a bit of a graphics snob, so Baldur's Gate's re-release is sadly out.

Outside of that, we both enjoy playing Shogun 2 together, and will likely be picking up Rome 2 when it releases.

We've played:
The Secret World (just felt too padded and boring)
League of Legends (i suck, and she's frustrated by my lack of aggression)
Lord of the Rings: War in the North (she hated not having her own character)
Sins of a Solar Empire (fun, but the ai overwhelmed me if we turned it up high enough to give her a challenge)
shogun 2: total war (lots of fun, but we've played it a lot)
Guild Wars 2 (she didn't like it for reasons I don't quite grasp)
The Old Republic (had fun until the story ended, and then my lack of PvP enthusiasm and their lack of content updates did it in for us)

So if you can suggest anything, that'd be really helpful.

If you have PS3 or Xbox 360, try Castle Crashers. It's a 2D side-scrolling slash 'em up with heaps of customization through diversity of characters, weapons and pets. There's a story mode and a vs mode so whatever you'd rather play, you can play. It's a casual game so don't expect it to be overly challenging.

Try Zombie Apocalypse 2 on PSN or XBLA.

If you found LoL a little shit but liked the idea try HoN (Heroes of Newerth.) There's some really awesome support heroes who you can play (Voodoo Jester, Armadon, Empath, Pebbles etc) and you can also be a carry with some of them if you get good at it.

The best tactic is to pick someone like Flint Beastwood or MageBane who aren't particularly awesome if you're bad, but can still help in a team fight and don't always die first. (Magebane can blink into the trees and hide, Flint has the largest range in the game and if you carry a TP you can flee if things turn south.)

Alternatively, play TF2 or ME3. She gets her PVP, you get your co-op.

Or one of you can just suck it up. I fucking love HoN, but my girlfriend hates PVP. So I just play Borderlands, Army of TWO, Halo Co-op and shit.
In Borderlands she likes to check all of the chests and shit while I just want PHAT LEWT and to min/max but I slow down so she can have fun and she understands that sometimes I'll run off to kill shit while she's checking every last toilet for money.

In Halo she likes to snipe and take pot shots from the other side of the galaxy. So I wait, she takes her shots until they figure out our position and then I run in guns blazing while she takes her potshots as cover fire.

I do enjoy the games but I also realise that I'm not playing on my own and I play slightly differently because I want her to have fun too. In the long run I'm better off because it means I get to play with her, which I like more than playing my way on my own.

If you have a PS3 check out Tokyo Jungle, big leaderboards with stats and daily rankings for her, good looking hats for you. It's only local co-op though, not sure if that's a deal breaker or not. £10 without PS+, £8 with, far and away the most entertaining concept in a long time and the gameplay is damn good too.

How about dead island? It has co-op ( not sure about split screen though ).

I also suggest Dungeons and Dragons online .

Or World of Warcraft Pvp server . You pick flowers while she defends you from the evil alliance ( because you will play horde because horde is the best ). You'll be her personal escort quest!

Torchlight 2(dungeon crawler) is delightful in co-op, also might get you to finally develop a taste for loot.

Magicka(also dungeon crawler... of sorts) is absolutely fantastic with friends because you get them killed more often then they would die otherwise.

Also Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light, now this is just an isometric twinstick puzzle shooter, but the co-op is actually made for two people to overcome obstacles and solve puzzles together, lots of challenges in it and you get tons of items on the way through it.

your post screams borderlands 2. it just doesnt have pvp.

try apb: reloaded
I was going to rip on APB, saying it's a fucking hideously awful game... (It really is) But in hindsight, for the first month of playing it, before your threat goes up to gold, the game is actually extremely enjoyable. Me and my friend had fuckloads of fun customizing ourselves and our vehicles. I also like the theme system. (mmmm... Streets of Rage victory music)

It's truly a shame that it's just like every other shooter with the pay-to-win horseshit over it. But despite that, the cops-vs-robbers GTA-style gameplay is hilariously fun. Criminal is fun because your stealing shit and ram-raiding, and Enforcer is fun because of tasers.

I'd say AI War, although the graphics thing might put her off :/ Really good co-op.

I wonder why she doesn't like Guild Wars 2...

Apparently, she's unpleasable.

Except HoN is the most competitive MOBA that is...
and Pebbles is more of a ganker than a support really, unless they have changed him since I last played, which to be fair is a while but I'm not here to discuss HoN

I'm not much help here I'm afraid. I don't like PVP and I don't like competitive that much either and I'm not at all a graphics whore.
I went through my Steam library to find something that I could suggest, but god damn.. I have almost only single player games. The few multiplayer games I have are:
Torchlight 2
Dungeon defenders
Saints Row: the third
Sanctum

All of these are Co-Op games so you could check them out.
Torchlight 2 and Dungeon defenders have a lot of loot so if she likes games like that I would strongly suggest them.

I've gone 5/0/20 ish as pebbles. You use toss to throw in your dps ally and use the stun to prevent getaways. Less dmg but works really well with a mq (insta ult + lifesteal) or pred (magic immune from skill/item before throw).

Also the items I like on him make him an awesome support. I go for most of the Aura items for almost all heroes so I tend to play all heroes more support than is normal. Plus mana ring is mandatory for any successful pebbles which is support as fuck.

I find HoN way easier and more fast paced than LoL, LoL feels really sluggish and I feel like I'm drunk.
