Pretty much everybody who has posted in this thread said:
He'd rather have recommendations for Rap/RnB music? Screw that! I'm posting artist that I like and there's nothing you can do about it!
Seriously? I thought it was common courtesy to read the OP.

Give this [http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/] a try. Between the shit is some real treasures to find. And do try to search on "ParagonX9" while you're there.

Virus Syndicate
Roll Deep (don't get the latest album though, it's awful)
People like you don't exist on the escapist :O
When you say "people like me" is that a good thing?
Well to me yes I never thought I would see some one else who like dub set and grime on these boards.
Phew, I thought it might've been going the "GTFO off my board you filthy charv" way, disaster averted!

I must say I've never talked to another gamer with an interest in grime or dubstep either.

Have you got the new Virus Syndicate album, its much better than the first one which is saying a lot.

The Kinks. You can't go wrong with the classics.

Or Air. Air is amazing. New Order. Listen to New Order.

And for more rap-y, look up The Mad Conductor. I have an amazing last.fm page. Check my Profile page.

Oh and HEARTSREVOLUTION.

In summation:

The Kinks
Air
Mad Conductor
New Order
HEARTSREVOLUTION

Bjork
Ghost Face Killa
Blotted Science

check them all out and give them a bit of time, it's all a bit left of centre. Try listening without preconceived notions

Alright, I give in.

If you really want something original and you like techno/electronica, first off, go listen to Kraftwerk, because they basically created the genre, and are pretty influential on popular music in general.
Then go listen to Juno Reactor. Nameley, this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0AB5sTuDe8
The whole thing. It's really awesome.

John Williams puts out some very nice film music.....

Here:

He's a classical composer, but his work is spot on for being awesome.
