I need song for a Macbeth soundtrack!

Howdy everyone. I read Macbeth in English class and I have to make a CD of music that will go along with the scences of Macbeth. And why the songs work.

Any songs you guys can think of because I'm stumped? And what scenes do they go with.

This song by Psycho Realm has a Shakespearian feel to it.


The last 3 minutes are particularly fitting, being passages from Shakespeare... obviously it's not perfect as the lines are mainly from Hamlet, but still it's in the right area and musically it fits.

As for why it fits Macbeth and what scene it goes with... well the lyrics are in the video description so you can make your own interpretations, especially since the lyrics were written and ordered in such a way that the first letter of each word spells out a hidden message, so their original meaning could be quite ambiguous and open to interpretation.

I'd recommend this song for the ending when Macbeth gets decapitated by Macduff.


Or for when Macbeth find's out his wife committed suicide. You know what? Use it whenever any named character dies.
