Holy shit thanks, um, sorry to ask again, as that looks like it took some time to write, but can you divide the male and female names please, russian names can confuse me, like Sasha can sometimes be a man and a woman's name, a bit like Jamie.

This is all you're going to need. Since they are real people, you can even tell the gender.

Here's a good site:
http://www.doukhobor.org/Commonnames.htm

Russian names have the following structure:
name + patrynomic + last name (add an a for females)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patronymic#Russian

Example: Lyubov Konstantinovna Lenina
Affectionate form (nickname, essentially) might be something like Lyuba or Lyus'ka

I'm gonna bust out "The Idiot" by Dostoevsky

Male names:

Lev Nikolayevich Myshkin
Parfyon Semyonovich Rogozhin
Gavril Ardalyonovich Ivolgin
Ippolit Terentyev
Afanassy Ivanovich Totsk
Yevgeny Pavlovich Radomsk
Lukian Timofyevich Lebedev
Ivan Petrovitch Ptitsyn
Ardalyon Ivolgin
Nikolai Ardalyonovitch Ivolgin
Antip Burdovsky
Nikolai Andreyevich Pavlishchev
Fyodor Ferdyshchenko
Grigori Schch

A tip or two about Russian names. The first name is the given name, the last name is the sur name or family name and the middle name is a derivative of the father's given name. Look at Afanassy Ivanovich Totsk for instance. It can be assumed that his father's first name was "Ivan". In this way All russians carry around something of their lineage. He would be something like: "Afanassy, Son of Ivan, Totsk"

Around family or friends they will use a mish-mash of elements from their first and middle names as nicknames. Gavril Ardalyonovich for instance would be affectionately referred to as "Ganya". In professional titles only the last name would be used. Doctor Pavlovitch or Corporal Ivolgan, Prince Myshkin. Formally as in letters or introductions the first and middle names are used. If you had a girl such as Aglaya Ivanovna Yepanchin, you would say "I would like you to meet miss Aglaya Ivanova".
