Been nearly a year now, I catched up all my "backlog" of game and I really dont know what to play next 😕

Recent game I liked
Dead Cells: even thought the difficulty it has towards the "boss cell" difficulty, I like the metroidvania esque choice and the variety of weapons
Oxygen not included: athough not perfect I like the management / survival aspect, it just get hard to micro manage to longer you play
Last Epoch: incredile talent "tree"for the skill, I love the fact you can build the skill for your own taste, maybe a bit lackluster for end game but hey! still in early
Gordian Qest: another great game despise some small flaw, I like the concept
Slay the Spire / monster train: I love the category Slay created, I love the game even though I hate the "harder" difficulty 😝

Game that I gave good amount but lose/lost "interest" quickly
Satisfactory, I dont know why but it scratch some itch for my OCD I guess but I dont play much outside a few hours with friend here and there, although I havent liked any other similar game so far, like Factorio or RimWorld (because I have a hard time with their gfx, even thought it is super rare that I am affected by gfx! like Risk of Rain 1 and Mana Spark minimalist gfx)
I tested Dyson program but feel like it too "empty" yet and doesnt offer enough
Deep Rock Galactic, it was a fantastic 100 hours of play time but now I just cant play anymore, because, well, Im tired or it I did what I liked.

Game I tried but fell flat
Founder's Fortune: interesting idea, but sadly for me fell flat because it wasnt "open ended" enough where some skill were "forced", some were nearly impossible to not take if you wanted to survive and a lot where taking huge amount of time to "grind" out
Universim: superbe idea, I loved my 10-15 hours play although I may have played too early and got bored of the micro management in later stage
Outerworld: dont get me wrong, I loved Fallout 3 and NV, but I dont know why I just cant hook myself to it

So, what am I looking for?
Category 1) Survival, management, like Oxygen. Not too sandbox (like the Forest or Raft feel too "sandboxy") dont suggest Willheim :p
Category 2) ARPG, I just dont know, after Last Epoch, and tried multiple other. Hard to find something
Category 3) Action Roguelike with "RPG" element or survival, Binding of Isaac, Dead Cells, Don't Starve, Gordian Quest, but I feel like it the hardest category for me to find because it either the game is too hard for my taste (like spelunky or Gungeon, yet i had fun) and souls like style like Blasphemous or Salt and sanctuary, because it hard to scratch the specific itch because "roguelike" are quite broad now
Category 4) Adventure deck building card game or just CCG, I am a big fan of card game in general, I MtG is my always to go or the StS and MT runs I do here and there
Other: Co-op game can usually give me more interest than a PvP games, im not a big competitive player

The no "interest": No pure FPS, like a CoD, adventure, they can give me some time to waste but never enough, "super hard" and Souls like, for the reason I already mentioned.
my steam playtime: https://steamcommunity.com/id/siyano/games/?tab=all&sort=playtime

Thank all :)

Hades seems like a game that would mesh pretty well into what you have played/liked already.

Its an action-roguelike with a story, which is quite interesting for a roguelike game. There is also progression between runs, so you get more powerful each time you try to beat it.

Its on PC and Switch, and a bloody good time, if I do say so myself.

You could try Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead, which is like a survival roguelike in a zombie apocalypse. It has a monstrous amount of depth, goes a little too hard toward 'realism', and is pretty sandboxy, but it's still a fun time.

If you want dekcbuilding try ratropolis, deckbuilding/tower defence game. It's pretty good but as a few important kink.

Iratus is a more roguelike version of darkest dungeon.

Chasm is a simple little rogue like in the metroidvenia style 9try monster sanctuary if you feel like a pokemon take on metroidvenia, not rogue like though)

If you liked Enter the Gungeon, then Nuclear Throne is a similar option. I assume you've tried Risk of Rain 2 since you mentioned playing RoR1, but if not then I would suggest it as well. Excellent transition from 2D to 3D which is honestly rarely even attempted in games.

If you have the Epic store then you might have gotten Darkest Dungeon as a freebie and if you haven't tried it then you might enjoy it for its combined rougelike and survival/management aspects. Basically you have to run a team of 4 dudes who need to be strategically managed through randomized dungeon encounters. Its interesting if unforgiving.

Noita is also an option, but is very "Rouge", not a lot of "Like". You are a dude with a wand, and you progress downward through caves until you die. Or win, but you'll die first usually. Its primarily interesting in how detailed the environmental modelling works and how the wands effect it. Every pixel is physically simulated and varies depending on the material it is made of. Coal and wood burn realistically and release CO2 which can choke you, water flows and can freeze, slime gloops, oil coats things and makes everything slippery (and flammable) and so on.

Another good option... maybe XCOM EU/EW or XCOM 2?

If you have never heard of XCOM, it is a turn-based tactical RPG, where you manage a squad of soldiers, fighting off an alien invasion/occupation. Levels are randomly generated, and your soldiers have permadeath.

Honestly, I treat it like a roguelike.

It is an incredible amount of fun, though the RNG can sometimes be... frustrating.

It also has pretty great mod support via the Steam Workshop - like being able to field a squad of Star Wars Clone Troopers, or SPARTANs from Halo.

Did you finish Brothers in only 1.7? I have to get back to that.

And thanks for the heads up that I could look at stats like this! Going through my own backlog now considering what I want to play next.

EDIT: I have a huge backlog. I've got to get back into Undertale, OneShot, Fire Watch.

One Step From Eden is a action deck building rogue-like game based on the gameplay of the Megaman Battle Network series. I highly recommend it, it's very good and has lots of interesting mechanics.

Dragon Marked For Death is a side scrolling action RPG from the same people that made the Megaman Zero series, Inti Creates. There's six different classes you can play as that all play very different and I'd say it has a cool art style and interesting world.

Crown Trick is a grid based Roguelike that I had some good fun with. It doesn't have long standing power like Slay the Spire does but it has interesting mechanics and weapons and it should prove fun till the end of the story.

Cross Code is a top down isometric action RPG that I need to get back into myself but it's very fun and has a real Super Nintendo feel to it, in a good way.

Sea Salt is a kind of... RTS Roguelike game. There's a campaign but by unlocking various elder gods and units you can make different compositions for your runs. It's not extremely involved but there's enough there to be entertaining for the low price.

Dicey Dungeons. It's a Rogue-like (?)deckbuilding(?) game? It has multiple characters in it that all play pretty differently from each other and is mostly based on the equipment you pick up and use. It's fun but it can also get really challenging, particularly with certain characters.

Pirate Outlaws. A rogue-like deckbuilding game with heavy inspiration from Slay the Spire. I'd say that it has a good amount of depth to it but it also feels like on the artistic side it's not on par with Slay the Spire's more iconic imagery. Still fun and if you liked Slay the Spire then this should be right up your alley.

Thank all!
Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead, sadly I dont feel attracted at all by the "non-gfx"
Ratropolis: I played it a bit less than 2 hours, could not stand much the difficulty where you had no "control" over, maybe im missing something but anyway, refunded it
Chasm: Was a great idea of a metroidvania, had a very big flaw of making it very hard to know where to go
XCOM, I maybe tried it 1 hour a long time ago, I think I just dont have the "patience" for tactics sadly :( but I should try it again
Nuclear Throne, played it, liked it, was maybe to "hard" but still
Darkest Dugeon: everything is great with this game! except the "micromanagement" in the long run, was a very decent enjoyment despise that
Iratus: I have to look that one up.
Noita: after looking a few streamer playing it, I dont think it will fit me because of it difficulty
One Step from Eden: it is in my potential, im just still unsure yet
Dragon Marked For Death: I have to look that one up
Crown Trick: Yep, in my wishlist
Cross Code: oh look so great! putting it in my potential
Sea Salt: not sure about that one, have to look more in dept
Dicey Dungeon: sadly, no, didnt appeal much from what I have seen
Pirate outlaws: Im not sure about the steam version but I played the mobile app and it was grindy has "hell"

Ok, here's my second list.

Guild of Dungeoneering. It's a rogue-like deck builder game where you send characters of various different classes into dungeons to take home the loot. Each class starts with a deck of cards and and a special ability and you add and change your deck by picking up equipment in the dungeon. An interesting mechanic is that you don't directly control your dungeoneer but instead fill in the dungeon and place enemies and treasure to influence where they go.

Labyrinth of Refrain. A first person dungeon crawler. While this isn't exactly in your list of genres, I think it has a lot of the things that might tickle your fancy. It has good combat system with lots of ways to customize your party and a fantastic story that can be heartwarming but also very dark. It's a fantastic game.

void tRrLM(); //Void Terrarium. A mystery dungeon style game where you play as a robot trying to take care of the last living human. It also has quite a bit of customization of what kind of loadouts you'll get when you go into the dungeons and a good and unique artstyle.

Alliance Alive. A turn based RPG with a lot of customization. It's got an interesting world and great music. A fun aspect to the game is how at a certain point in the game you'll be able to recruit people to work in various towers that will give special benefits to your party like buffs or access to special equipment, and you can recruit people from ALL walks of life from street kids wandering around, to a family of monsters to an ancient dragon to an awakened lich king and his three knights. All of them recruited to your party to help save the world, it's a game that is the first I've seen to actually make it feel like the whole world is working together to save itself. The combat is also unique in that you can customize a lot on your characters from what weapons and skills they can use.

Phoenotopia Awakening. A side scrolling action adventure game styled similarly to Zelda 2. I feel like you'd get similar feelings from this that you'd get from an action adventure RPG with how wide the world is and the people in it, there's secrets all over the place and lots of things to do in it. It doesn't have lots of stats to manage or anything but... it has a lot of the elements of a game like Morrow wind I guess.

Just a few more games I turned up in my Steam Library.

King of Dragon Pass. While the graphics aren't fancy, it's a sort of fantasy village management game. There's randomly generated parts and random events to make runs interesting. You have a council of people to help you with your decisions and that influence what choices you get for events and you have to deal with territory acquisition and fighting with other tribes.

Lobotomy Corporation. If you've heard of SCP then this is basically you being in charge of a facility that houses SCPs. You have to manage the containment of the SCPs and the condition of your staff while keeping things running.

I think that's all I got left though.

I hear a lot of people praising Cross Code and I like the SNES feel to it(having grown up with that). I've got it but have yet to jump into it. I'm hoping it get to it this year. Fucking backlog.

Sea Salt caught my interest but I haven't committed to putting down cash for it yet. I like the Lovecraft RTS feel but not sure if it's actually fun. I mean, as fun as Lovecraft can reasonably be and still get the feel right.
