If Bethesda makes another Elder Scrolls where would you want it to be?

Elsweyr, because all the different kinds of Khajiit we've never seen sound awesome, or Valenwood (as much as I hate wood elves), because they have migratory trees that house cities. Migratory trees that house cities.

EDIT: Or both! They're relatively small and share a border.

I don't care, so long as it's Elsweyr...get it? Elsewhere?

No. That wasn't funny in the slightest, I don't blame you. But seriously, I'd like to see somewhere that the khajiits weren't treated with constant contempt. The only downside I can see would be the massive influx of disturbing fanfiction spawned from a game featuring mainly anthropomorphic cats. Furry porn. Furry porn everywhere.

All of these are thinking inside the box too much. The best and most interesting aesthetics of TES IV were in Oblivion and the Shivering Isles. Why not set the next game in the rest of the Daedric Realms?

EASY!
Co-op
Like they should have done in the first place.
"incoming shit storm in 3..2..1...."

"read the post wrong sorry its 5am lol"
Honestly having it in reverse would actually be kinda cool.
You are coming from the realm of Oblivion as a Daedra. but you can choose to fight against it and help the Mortals. Something cool like that "WHAT A TWIST?!?!"

I haven't finished Skyrim yet so i don't know if anything happens with the Aldmari Dominion and the Thalmor but i'd like to see some more with the war between them and the Empire.

or...

Maybe something not in Tamriel all together. If you know your Elder Scrolls Lore you'd know about another enemy of the Empire, Akavir. Perhaps they invade or something, or just have the game set on Akavir itself.
Oh, yes. Akavir for the win. Or, I dunno, the ancestral homeland of the Ra Gada (Redguards), which isn't Hammerfell but where they came from previous to that. Forgot the name of that particular continent.

Or the Summerset Isles.

Ha! Your Search Fu is weak. This was done two months ago.

But I will answer your question anyway.

I agree with most of the posters on here. Black Marsh or Elsweyr. We've already been to High Rock and Hammerfell, Morrowind, Cyrodil, and now Skyrim. Valenwood might be interesting (but Black Marsh could do so much more), and the only reason I'd want to visit Sumerset Isle would be to burn it all down (damn Altmer).

The Redguards home got sunk by an earthquake I think so they migrated to High Rock. I'd like Valenwood as a place, I can see the trailer now and the music would be run through the jungle.

Valenwood + Summerset Isles. Isn't much bigger than Skyrim, so it could be covered. And i really want to kick Thalmor bastards in the teeth. Elsweyr and Blackmarsh are interesting too, but i think the populace would be a little bit alienating. Too many cats or lizards. Everything else has already been covered in some way.

Absolutely the Summerset Isles.
Why? So many reasons.
Remember how interesting Morrowind's world was? Giant mushrooms, barren volcanic fields, that sort of thing? In Summerset, there is so many more interesting places than in Oblivion or Skyrim! How about a city carved into coral? Bethesda could even add Pyandonea, the mysterious jungle island south of Summerset. Little is know of Pyandonea, so it could lead to some interesting quests and creatures, including the Maormer; the Sea Elves.
The Psijic Order come from Summerset, so maybe they could have a quest line of some sort?
Here's a few cut's from the Lore page, and my comments.

''The island has idyllic orchards and clear pastures, still and silent lagoons, misty woodlands, and the unique Psijic architecture that seems to be as natural as its surroundings. The Ceporah Tower is a relic from a civilization that predates the High Elves by several hundred years. It is the location of the Dreaming Cavern, which Sotha Sil once used as some sort of portal into the realms of Oblivion, but which has since been sealed off by the Psijics.''

See? Lagoons, woodland, pastures, and cool new architecture.
A portal to Oblivion? Maybe a quest line for the Psijic Order?

''The island was once removed from the world in a similar fashion to Umbriel, but reappeared about 500 years later. The island once again disappeared around 100 years before the Skyrim civil war, and has not been seen since.''

This is perfect! Maybe you start off in mainland Tamriel, and the Thalmor are being exiled and forced to board their ships and flee, without any idea where they are going. If you choose to play as an Altmer then you can be a Thalmor officer, and if you play something else you are a prisoner! Maybe, for some reason, your ship strays from the others, and you rediscover Summerset?

I'm excited now! DAMN IT BETHESDA, MAKE IT IN SUMMERSET!!
that is awesome not only because its a great way to present something different like elder scrolls 3 but also you can add to races and new mythos we never heard of

Eslweyr or Hammerfell, haven't been able to visit the desert since Daggerfall, and a elder scrolls game in the jungle sounds too awesome to be true.

I think it would be cool if they took the series away from Tamriel for a change. According to the lore there are like eight (don't quote me on this, though) other continents, some larger than others.

Tamriel. All of it. If they could do it 17 years ago with Arena, they can do it now with TES 6.
Dont think they could. Arena was mostly randomly generated. Which meant that most of the enviroments looked boring and drab, whereas Skyrim was all hand made and it is the best looking game of the series. I dont think they could keep Skyrim's quality of looks and make the entirety of Tamriel by hand, which is what we have come to expect now Skyrim is out.

OT: Im gonna go with Summerset Isles. Mainly because im always an Altmer, and it would be pretty cool being the main race for once.

Personally, I don't care where it is, as long as it has more Sheogorath in it.

Although, I might be interested in the homeland of the Khajiit or the Argonians.

Valenwood AND Elsweyr. The pair together still look smaller than Cyrodiil. And it'll help bring us closer to an eventual MMO spread across the whole of Tamerial. Not only that, it'll mean a more varied terrain and two main races we'll encounter quite often. You could also do a lot storywise with it.
