Where would you live if you had a choice? Why would you live there?

Personally I'd live somewhere in the depths of Russia, where its very cold (I can't stand the heat)and where no one will bother me (so I can do whatever I want). Of course I'd have to have a helicopter to get food with, a generator for electricity and satellite internet & tv... but no big deal.

Somewhere quiet safe and relaxing, not too far away from people though.

Yeah I thought about Antarctica as well but the challenge of food might be a little too great.
Oh and the whole half a year of night thing.

Wow... you really couldn't be much more vague than that.
I will try mention other things I might like there then, an historical place, where the weather isn't usually hot but sometimes it is. Eh I don't know what else I could say:p

In orbit around Earth, because space is its own excuse. If not there I'd live in either Faroe Islands or Germany.

Hmm an historical place that is quiet, safe and relaxing but also temperate in climate. That's quite a difficult one, as most historical places are crowded with tourists and are in no way quiet or relaxing.

All fine choices. I think we have the best beer here in Germany, but then again you get to eat whale and puffin on the Faroe Islands, which are deeeeeelicious. ^^

OT: I think I'd live on Prospero. Pre-exterminatus, of course. :)

Having to learn a skill like fishing would keep me occupied, and would probably be more rewarding than working for money...and then shopping for food.

No... It can't be... even in northern Siberia?
Maybe I should migrate in the summer to a cooler place.

In northern parts (beyond the polar circle) it may be 10-15 Celsius in summer, but it's not as good as forests.

Phew... I can stand 10 - 15 Celsius.
My plans are still intact! Much celebration!
