It happens every year, all the various news/entertainment sites list and discuss movies that hit theatres in the coming year. And this year is no different, only difference is I decided to bring one such list you you folks here at the Escapist:
http://movies.ign.com/articles/106/1061492p1.html

First and formost what do you think of the movies on this list, love em, hate em, or are you just meh? More importantly what movies are you most, excited/nervous about.

For me half the list has me giddy with excitement but in particular The Expendables and Kick Ass are the ones Im really excited about. Im also extremely nervous upon seeing "Let Me In" what I think is the completely unnecessary American remake of the brilliant foreign vampire flick "Let the Right One In"

The A team! Yes! Also, I know that I won't like Jonah Hex because of his stupid first name that is also my name that I hate. Bosh! Flimshaw!

I plan to see Alice, Potter, Kickass, & Tron. Well, that's 3 more than what I saw last year.

That version of alice in wonderland reminds me of american mcgee's Alice so it could be good.
Aside from that I think let the right one in is going to be ruined by hollywood in the remake and also Tron Legacy is going to be FUCKING AWESOME.

WHY?! I JUST DON'T GET IT!
Thats exactly what I was thinking, everything about the original just works. But atleast they've done a slight service to the original by changing the name so that its less likely people will call the orignal crap just because the remake sucked. And if it does suck I intend to collect the directors head on a platter for screwing with found memories of my first foreign language film(among other reasons)

Ill Take Alice In wonderland, Iron Man 2, The Losers, Mechette, PoP and Toy Story 3.

Though as the Nightmare on Elm Street has Jackie Earl Hallie, I'll probably give it a look

Clash of The Titans looks AWESOME!!! It's got Sam Worthington as Perseus and LIAM NEESON as ZEUS! It cannot possibly be anything but epic.

If the first one is any indication, Iron Man 2 is going to be great. I might see Jonah Hex just because it has Megan Fox. Predators, Prince of Persia, Tron Legacy, A Nightmare on Elm Street and The Wolfman look pretty good too.

What about the new Simon Pegg/ Nick Frost movie (The World's End), which will be the final installment of the blood and icecream series (the first two were shaun of the dead and hot fuzz)?

I'm also looking forward to Machete as I loved Grind House

I didn't know that.
I didn't need to know that. I watched that film not three days ago and loved it.
I am now saddened.

To be more precise all but three of these movies are definite must see's. I'm very nervous about the Let the right one in remake, don't care about Deathly Hollows, and I've no love for the movie on the list that got Michael Cera in it.

They forgot Inception, which looks by far the most interesting movie of the entire year.

Trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSyQ3K0xnYg&feature=related
Shit the city is like...bending. I got no idea what the movie is about, just know that I gotta see it. Fuck you Nolan. You and your damn good trailers!!!

Also the remake of Nightmare on Elm's Street is filed for "Failure".

Hollywood don't like films that aren't made in their own country or language, that's why foreign films can't win best picture at the academy awards.

If by "most wanted" they mean "films with the highest budget" then fair enough. Otherwise, that list is silly.

None of the films on that list interest me much.

I will be dragged to see the new Harry Potter film though, hopefully by a girl and not my family...I live in hope.

I know the premise of the expendibles may sound shit, but god damn

"Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Micky Rourke, Bruce Willis, and even the Governator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger"

Throw in Liam Neeson somewhere and that movie could go nuclear with testosterone alone

OT: But I guess Alice in Wonderland, Iron Man 2 and Kick-Ass are among the only ones I would really want to see
