Just, what would happen. How would that work. I mean, just think if there was a parallel universe and the version of you was your ideal romantic partner, would that be like incest or something, how would you categorize you on you as a romantic category? Just an odd thought on a slow day off. And before anyone asks what I would do... fuck if I know, that's why I made the thread. Discuss.

Well first of they'd be female, then she would look different, have a different name and having all these variables would mean she also lived an entirely different life.

They would be "you" in the sense that you have the same origins but "you" wouldn't be the same person, by which I mean you two would act differently.

Love is love, wherever it blossoms.

It wouldn't be anything new to me.
I already get aroused when I look into a mirror.

We would make sweet love and have giant headed children. Also they would be a woman, for obvious reasons.

And considering that they are from another universe and are by necessity of the opposite sex I don't think there would be any good reason to be against it, save protecting the world from our superiorly cranially endowed children.

Well if this alternate universe uses the exact same genetic structures and such then it'd be incest I'd say, twincest to be specific.

I mean someone who shares your genetics except for a single X/Y chromosome is pretty much the same as having a twin of the opposite gender (or same gender if that's your preference).

The alternate you would probably be a bit more closely related even. But I'd say twincest covers it pretty well.

I'd rather have him be my roomate so that we could spend the rest of our lives having wacky hijinks.

I've already tried this, and I must say it was a huge success. Took place in a nice meadow, and those passing by could hear us from miles away. It was a frustrating week, and I was all pent up, unable to do any fun. It was a wonderful Saturday, I must say!

Good news; I wrote a short story about it.
Bad news; I Shift-Deleted that sucker.

I think that it's just a really a version of self love. Or twincest, whichever way you look at it.

Since your genes would be the same, wouldn't that mean that the children would come out kind of Forrest Gump-ish?

Statistically speaking you are more likely to have a gumpish child if the parents are racially different.

It would depend largely on just how parallel the world was. If we had the same genes and similar aspects, I'd likely not do anything with female me. But they'd have to be a pretty radically different person from me to actually warrent them being an ideal sexual partner.

So I don't know. Haven't run into that situation quiet yet. I'll get back to you tomorrow.

Hottest sex evar. ^^

Throw in parallel universe versions of several other people I know, and possibly more than one extra of me, and we'd have ourselves a massive orgy. Fun times.

The love-making would be beautiful, and at the moment of climax we would create a paradox powerful enough to implode the entire multiverse.

As mentioned:
-Do we share the same DNA?
-Have we lived our live the same way?

Love is love, but I would not feel the same love for, say my sister/brother, as I do for another woman/man. Would I feel love as in "sexual intent" love for a parallel me? Though question.

Since this is a fictional and completely messed up situation, my first priorities would be;
-Where am I?
-How did I get here?
-Can I ever get home?
-If I'm male/female here, does that mean my same sex friends are as well?
-What will my mother/father think of me, since I'm no in a alternative universe aren't I the alternative?
-My brain hurts.
-Wait! I haven't been born, I'm not registered anywhere, I don't have any ID. Am I free, or a prisoner?
-The list goes on.

One thing is certain, this "other me", would probably be able to understand my reasoning and thought process pretty well, and if I'm interested in me, then she/he would be to, right. Right?

OT:
-I have no idea what would happen, "Southland Tales" perhaps?
-The relationship would probably count as Narcissism.
-The love making would be like "pleasing yourself" (read masturbation).
-I'd probably find it as fascinating as the "other me", but we would probably end up working on getting me home instead of fooling around (pretty boring I know).
