Procrastinating as usual, I have an exam tomorrow and really should study, but I just can't seem to get into the mood. How do you get pumped up for homework/study, besides from using focus energy, of course...

I've done all my exams, Had physics today maths monday. I always just force myself I have really good willpower.
Your physics exam was on Quarks and Quasars and The World of Music!

Just a guess.

I don't do my homework. I get into coursework, however, because I know it's necessary. Do something extremely boring, then just sit down and do work. After all of it is finished It's time for gaming.

Revising is a *****, to be honest, as I rarely 'get into it'. I just look at it and think "What a waste of my time."

OH, so close....

It was on Mechanics and Materials. No actually you weren't close at all.
Damn it, I heard about one of World of Music and Quarks and Quasars today.

I have my physics AS Exam on Monday. Mechanics and Waves.

I...
I don't revise/study.
At most, I may browse through the stuff while I panic.
But really, I just go in to the exam, and my mind just throws anything useful it can find at me.
It has kinda worked so far...

Oh we did Mechanics and Materials. Were starting Waves now, is it any good.

Materials is interesting, Your knowledge of words like "tough, hard, strong" will be changed. THERE NOT THE SAME
Waves are relatively simple once you know the terminology. That's all it is, things like Total Internal Reflection, Refractive Index, Young's Fringes. It's all quite a lot to take in when you start but it soon get simple. Good luck!

I don't have any particular way to pump myself up for studying. I just sit myself in front of it and force the work to come...

I usually turn off the computer. That helps just a bit :)
Yeah but then, I always want to just turn it back on again. And I just get distracted by other things. Like food >.>

try breaking it up into chunks of time. 30 min for homework and then 30 minutes for gaming. It works for me.

I usually say "Today! Today is my day off!" Then I relax the entire day, start panicking the next day and finish everything in a couple of hours.

Get to bed earlier than usual (around half-ten, mabye) and read your stuff in bed

Do you by any chance live in England and have a science GCSE tomorrow.

If so *internet high five*

If not, then what's it on.

EDIT: read the earlier post, but do you live in England and is it GCSE?
