So today I received an important email from the the creators of the game Indivisible and of course Skullgirls about their progress they have for their game and I wanted to share it with you:

Now, as you can read in my Thread's Title, you can see why I asked this question. At some point in the video you can see a Modern Day City [1:12 mark]!!!
Is this establish this take place in a post-apocalyptic Earth? Like, maybe we see many magical places like Forests, Deserts or Even Steampunk cities, but only seeing this art make me believe the games plot is even more deeper.
Or of course the plot is related with Time Travel, but I want to think is something more unique than that.

What do you think also about the music? Awesome right?
What are you hoping from the story of the game?

Well, it is just concept art. Subject to change and all.

As for your question, you're implying it takes place on a realistic depiction of Earth, which it clearly isn't. It's purely fantasy, meaning they can pick and choose what real-life aspects they want to include. In this case, neon lights.

Adventure Time TV Show is also present itself as a Fantasy Theme Cartoon, but it is also a Post-Apocalyptic Theme. HEAVILY so.
I hope to be somehow right.

Adventure Time wasn't planned to be post-apocalyptic at the start. They had the businessmen episode, people began to get ideas, then the show was revealed to be set on Earth after a nuclear war.

Besides, if Indivisible takes place in a post-apocalypse setting, what would that add to the game?

I think it was planned from the start, mostly from the opening.
Unless you meant that it wasn't planned to be revealed as such, then I'm not really sure about that.

OT:
I don't know, reminds me of this city from Tales of AlethrIon: The Reward.
The city might just be oddly futuristic compared to other places in the world.

(By the way if you haven't watched it yet, DO IT. It's an exelent 9 min web animation.)

No, because even in its intro had clues of post-apocalyptic earth [human skeletons, destroyed cars bikes, etc]
Also it will make more sense because it will give a more solid reason of hero using incarnations.

EDIT: Sorry I mess up because I am writing on cellphone...
I wanted to reply to the other user...

Just something else I discoveried while looking. It seems I guess the game trying at some point to look like a Capcom's Game,"Asura's Wrath".
So Maybe the developers trying to put sci-fi as well?
