I just bought infamous and to my surprize I noticed the games is entirely in dutch! Im dutch myself but im nottoo happy about this, seeing ive been playing games in english all my life. All the dutch talk makes this game lose all credibility and it just sounds embarrassing.

I looked it up on the web and found a news article saying they released a patch to add english wich I checked and saw it automatically downloaded. But the game is still in dutch and I cant find any option to change it!

Does anyone have the same problem and/or know how to fix this?

Anyone who tells me to get Prototype: "would you kindly go die in a fire?"

Dutch? You mean, even the voicework?
The Dutch obviously have too much time.

Well, seeing as you live in the Nederlands, I would assume that the game would be in Dutch. However, I understand that it is disconcerting(is that the right word?) to have a game in a language that you aren't used to playing games in. I would either play the game and just bare with the Dutch, or just wait until the patch for English.

Not much else you can do, except maybe buy a copy of the game from an English-speaking country.

The problem with that is the PS3 has a region protector thing in it. I could buy a copy of say SOCOM: Confrontation for a friend in the UK, but they wouldn't be able to play it because the game was made to work in region 1.
Did that make any sense what so ever?

It made sense. I didn't know PS3's had that, seeing as I don't have one. So yeah, that sucks.

The UK and Ireland are both region 2, a game from there would work fine.

Nah actually the PS3 has no region lock on it.

But on topic just wait for a patch or translate the dutch menus through google and try to atleast find english subtitles.

Actually, one thing you might want to try is switching your PS3's global language settings to be in English. I have a Japanese PS3 but set it to English, and as a result, all the games I buy that are Japanese release versions of American games will play in English because they default to that since the machine is set for English--so my Japanese LittleBigPlanet and Bioshock play in English automatically when I put them in; to play them in Japanese (which I'm thinking about for Bioshock because gaming in English is weird for me for the same reason gaming in Dutch is weird for you--I've only gamed in Japanese) I have to change the language settings of the PS3.

1. Try and Switch your PS3's Language to English.
2. Check the options for subtitles.
Or you could just trade it in for another (Depending on where you bought it.)

there is no region locking on the ps3 games, the 360 is the one with region locking

the ps3 is region locked for blu-ray and dvd movies and that's it

Just joking, not that egotistical.
Anyway, have fun!
