Alright so I was just wondering that lets say I'm shooting to get under 5 hours in Resident Evil 5 for the Infinite Rocket Launcher, does it have to be in one straight sitting, no stopping just right through. Or, can you save, shut it off, and when you continue the timer will just keep on going from there ??

Thanks guys, I'd appreciate it.

It's just the total time of the playthrough. So say...on one of the missions, its at 38 minutes for its go-through, and you are at 5 hours 1 minute total for that difficulty's playthrough, if you go through that mission again and get 37 minutes for the run through that time, it will count towards your total score, bringing it down to 5 hours.

Hope that makes sense and sets things right.

As above said it goes by total time of your best times for each act.

So you can just minimize your time on each act in any order you want, the moment it ticks under 5 hours, its yours.

I will give you a hint, the level with the ouroburos (or how ever you spell it) on the boat, were the level starts off with QTE's can be completed in about 32 seconds.

On the level with the hover boat, there is a rocket launcher, use that on the bright yellow ... heads? On the ouroboros, instakill.

For the rest of it, just run and you should be able to get the game down to less than 4 hours.

Also as the others said do the shortest levels first, in any order you like. Every time you redo a section it uses that time, if it was quicker than your last time.

Nope all levels hold records and the highest record gets saved and the total of all levels have to be under 5 hours to get the launcher.

NOT ONE SITTING.

I'm pretty sure that since Resident Evil 5 tracks the time it takes to beat every level and the whole game. I think it would just take the finishing time and use that, but I'm not completely sure. To be safe, I would just do it in one sitting if you could, but it should work either way.

Oh, so THAT'S how I got that!

I've been wondering how I unlocked the Inf. RL.

But yeah, for speedy times it's good to have a good infinite ammo weapon and a co-op partner. Two inf. weapons, if you're going it alone.

Good choices are the MP5, Striker and the ultra-revolver. They either have good fire rate, damage or a decent balance of both.
