I thought we settled this a while ago...

Treyarch didn't give them any consent to produce a zombie mini-game based off of NZ.

"...was a Treyarch original."

.........Uhm........define "original".
Zombies have been done.
Nazi have been done.
Nazi Zombies have been done to death.
(I just watched the Nzi zombie movie of DBZ. DBZ for christ sake!)

It was still fun though.

Alright, thats it IW you just lost a player how...how does that feel *weakly shakes fist*
*IW doesn't even notice*
Seriously though I loved Nazi Zombies I think it single-handedly saved WaW, if it wasn't for that it would've been another bland WW2 game. Shi No Numa was my favorite map mostly for the tropical atmosphere so I'm looking forward to more of that in Vietnam. I wish NZ's matchmaking worked better I find it really hard to find games.

Aww... I'd have loved to have tried out zombie killing with some modern weapons, even if all challenge would have left the game. Though, to give IW credit where its due, at least they're not pandering to the masses.

ugh..the nazi zombies in Hellsing are quite enough, thank you for not hammering them in CoD as well :S
theyre vampires. :/
same weird mash-up
i think the idea was, "whats the most evil villain alucard can fight against, since alucard is evil as fuck."

and someone suggested, "nazi vampires."

that guy got a promotion.

They haven't been done with our friends Takeo, Richtofen, Dempsey, and Nikolai before. It is such an outrageous pairing of characters and the dialogue can be ROFL funny when given time and the right circumstances. Mad scientist + crazy American killer + drunk Russian + old school Japanese + kicking zombie ass all the while shouting at each other in outlandish humorous ways? It was classic! I want them to remake these characters into a newer game. In a way, Zombies mode had its own backstory and events that lead to the coming of the zombies. These had to be found first and run-and-gun players might miss them. Breach of the fourth wall and sometimes self-aware comments (Dr. Richtofen comments that a power up must work by telekenesis) all come together with a sometimes heart pounding experience and that is how Treyarch made it original.

That, and I'm a PC gamer so I didn't have to pay for any of it! Ha!

i personally appreciated the nazi zombies mode..it was a break from the dick waving contest that is normal multiplayer. i always found this much more interesting..even if it wasn't done completely right, it was an interesting idea and fun to play around with

So that is why they dropped dedicated server supports so no one could put in a zombie mod thats a bit too far really.
Nice leap of logic there, Glade!
Well it was kind of a joke but it does seem the only logical reason I can think of for cutting dedicated server support in my eyes but I digress

I can survive without the zombies but a map pack sometime soon would be nice. And maybe some new Special Ops.

With the DLC costing so much, Treyarch might eventually start beating IW in CoD sales.
