Do you ever find yourself having a bad feeling about someone like the guy walking down the street or the friend of a friend?

How do you feel when in those situations? Is it a nagging in the back of your mind or a feeling in your stomach?

What do you do when you find yourself face to face with such a person?

I tend to get those kinds of feelings about situations rather than specific people. Sometimes, when I go to places that are crowded, I start getting weird vibes, but I can never pinpoint why. The closest analogy I can think of is a silent fart on a crowded elevator; you know something's wrong, but you can't pinpoint it.

Usually, I try to get out of the area, if it's possible to do so.

Politely excuse myself...
But the other day, I was walking back from a coffee shop at night, and I felt like there was a creeper behind me. I was holding my pepper spray, so I started walking backwards, and without looking directly at him, conspicuiously took off the safety. He turned the corner into a dead end immediately after....

Being the superstitious mystic that I am, I believe that most folks have bad vibes about them for a reason, whether they're a bad person or it just isn't a good idea to get caught up in their business. It usually manifests as an odd sense at the base of my neck, usually accompanied by an instinctive dislike in the back of my head, which fails to express itself in words. I avoid people like this if at all possible.

If forced to interact with them, they get a bare-minimum, succinct conversation before I go somewhere else. Oddly enough, most of them don't get too hurt by it. Then again, I'm known for being a man of few words anyhow.

they could have easily done it cause they saw some crazy person start walking backwards and either holding a weapon in their hand or inside a purse. personally i would have gotten out of someone's way if i saw them acting oddly like that

Totally creepy.

Whenever I get a bad feeling, my senses seem to get a bit more "tuned up," like I'm getting ready for something. Anyways, the only time anything bad happened was when I was robbed by the Cops just outside of Tijuana. I had a feeling it was going to happen from the instant that I crossed the border.

Yes, it's called paranoia and it's why I have a knife strapped to the top of my shower.

well to put it into perspective you got a "feeling" about someone and made visible threats towards their person and they did nothing to provoke this except simply walking behind you. this was your own fear and paranoia doing it, i'd call that a bit crazy

You have to admit. He has a point. If you started walking toward me strangely with a weapon in your hand, I'd probably exit stage left as well.

Two of my friends had been mugged in the same spot. I wasn't gonna exactly take chances, now was I?

I always think someone's calling my name and one time someone WAS calling my name but I brushed it off as my imagination. I also get the feeling someone's talking behind my back whenever I pass by them, but I usually brush that aside as well.
I'm often too lost in my thoughts when walking alone, so I don't really get too many vibes or I choose to ignore them.

I'm paranoid, so yeah I get these feelings all the time. I see someone else, I instantly grab hold of my nightstick or knife and tense my muscles. As soon as I see someone when I'm walking alone I start thinking about all the different ways they could attack me, and all the ways I could defend myself.

You are crazy, but then, so am I. So are a lot of people.

so you threatened a person's well being that did nothing to provoke it? people are mugged/raped/murdered all the time in various parts of the world doesn't mean you stop going out your front door or try and arm yourself or make threatening moves towards one another

personally if i saw you do that and i walked past a cop, i'd report you for acting erratically and hope they'd go give you a talking to or haul you off

it wasn't up until i read a particular book i for the first time felt the touch of genuine madness. i'm not sure whether most people know what madness is or have ever experienced it, but if they have that maddening touch over them constantly i am not surprised they become insane. it cannot be explained, it has to be felt.

i haven't really had encounters with people that gave me 'bad' vibes, but then where i live such people aren't prevalent.

...but as for intuition, in any given situation i constantly get advice seemingly weaved from my thoughts, whether conscious or subconscious. i often predict outcomes or results before they are shown or told. with people, i can have a person analyzed within seconds for physical traits and within a minute for mental traits. generally it seems my body and mind operate on high alert levels constantly, what with all this analysis and the fact that i rarely get startled or spooked by most anything. mind modus are interesting.

I have, my friend is a Pagan that can perform almost any ritual. I have gained a sense that I can tell where he is when he is about 100 feet away out of sight. Plus someone had tried to attack me and I turned with a punch without a second thought or even thinking. He left and I was scared for anyone who tried to attack me since I always have my 8 and three quarter inch dagger on me.
