Since November you can finally play Amico. You only need two cellphones (one for the screen and one to be the Amico controller) and download the apps; so you can finally play overpriced ports of existing games with worse controls (lucky us!).

Now, this video shows some existing games on other platforms, in case you're interested in playing them on your own on a better platform (no Earthworm Jim game in the list BTW).

Funniest bit is those games probably still run better than they would've on the Amico console had that ever released. Truly the most entertaining Tallarico grift yet

Since it's related, a primer on Tommy Tallarico's shenanigans (also, yes, a 2 hour video is a primer)

...

...

...why?!
Because the Amico controller was supposed to be the console's defining feature. It was supposed to be a throwback to the original Intellivision controller, but instead of a numbered pad (over which you put a plastic overlay included with the game that tells you which button does what), it was a going to be touch screen (because that certainly helped the Wii U to be the success story we all know and love /s).

Now, the prototype for the controller technology was being developed on cellphones to test and demonstrate the wireless communication. But once Tommy got out, they had to stop promising and actually deliver something; and as the Number 9 creators said "This is better than nothing"
