I still think the single biggest stumbling block will be the safari zone. Limited to 500 steps, this circle walking is going to end badly.
Admin said he got a hacked version of the game to remove the Step counter. The only problem now will be Victory road. I do not see them pushing the boulders anywhere but into corners.

That makes sense I suppose. They could still run out of balls and money there though.

The ledge before victory road is easily 24 hours + in my estimation. And again every time they get KOd before reaching the league.

Then again, once they heal in the league centre it's just a matter of time until (near) guaranteed victory.

So no mention of the epic revolt that happened in chat back in Cerulean over whether or not to get Eevee?

That one was one for the ages.
... Please elaborate? lol
It's summed up pretty well with this image [http://i.imgur.com/9cV06Yq.png] - basically, they needed a Pokémon who could learn surf, and their options were pretty much Lapras from the Rocket base (that they're currently in) or Vaporeon.

They got Eevee, and as that image predicted, they went to the box, released their Charmeleon and Rattata, withdrew a different Rattata, caught an Oddish (which filled their party back up to 6, making the whole box thing pointless), then somehow evolved the Eevee into a Flareon. Now they're pretty much screwed, with only Pidgeot to back them up and no one to learn surf :p

Captcha: baby steps. Sums the whole thing up.
Wait that image makes perfect sense...why in the hell did they choose Eevee then? By god, they're screwed.

And yet I can't stop laughing.

And a voting system was implemented, tweaked, and removed in the space of around twenty minutes. Glory to start9, avatar of chaos!

It's back now, stream is dull again. I had a feeling the creator would miss the point at some stage.
For someone who was quoted as "very reluctant to mess with the format", they really messed with the format.

I really like this thing, never seen anything like it. The stream is annoying as hell to watch, but it's interesting to keep an eye on to see how far they will get.

*edit*
I was worried about the safari zone, but if he removed the step counter it should just take a while.

I'm done I think. It's not enjoyable to watch anymore. None of the fun stuff that happened would have done so with the aggregated inputs. We haven't even consulted helix since the first vote. 24 hours in Rocket HQ and our eventual victory is cheapened because we voted to use a cheat code. I hope people still have fun with it but I fear the streamer has killed his golden goose.

This stream inspired me to write my own python program:
https://github.com/ntfwc/Chat_Controlled_Gamepad

Rather than talking directly with an emulator, it acts as a virtual gamepad that should be usable with any software that supports gamepads. It is limited to Linux, as it depends on uinput, and, for now, you need to know a bit of python to use and configure it, but it works. So if someone has a great stream idea and knows their way around video streaming in Linux, they could use it to do something similar.

Its applications are limited, but I had fun making it.

And now, the exclusive clothing line: http://www.redbubble.com/people/saboyland/collections/268927-gaming

The "Order Is Progress" one is a little on the nose, and the "Order Of The Helix" sounds like a webcomic, but the "START9" one could be a believable band shirt.
