Interplay Claims It Could Take Back Fallout

Bethesda Softworks didn't make Fallout 3, Morrowind, Oblivion - they haven't made a single game.

Let me explain.

Bethesda Softworks, often abbreviated to BethSoft, are the publishers of games. They have published all sorts of things, like Wet and Brink.

Bethesda Game Studios are completely different.

They are a company that makes the games - the TES series, and Fallout 3. The only thing any employee who specifically works at BGS has to do with BethSoft is that all their games are published by BethSoft.

Don't lose your faith in BGS because of BethSoft's mistakes.

Well put. This thread seems to be just arguing about which developer made better games. I didn't run into the Fallout series until Fallout3, so I'm not experienced to say who made a better game.

But that's not really the point anyways. It's a legal battle about their contract, one that we don't (as far as I can tell) know enough about to start pointing fingers.
