I honestly think it depends on the DLC for example both GTA expansions were way worth it but all of the Fo3 expansions (Except Point Lookout) left me feeling a little cheated but thats just me and my opinion.

Some? Yes it's horribly overpriced. I think Deadspace had guns downloadable for 2-3 dollars PER GUN, which didn't upset me because you can walk through that game with the pistol easily enough I believe. Then there's games like Fallout 3 that have DLC longer than full bloody games which is perfectly awesome.
I'm against paying for DLC altogether. I know it's the way of the future and all but that seems like a cop-out. It relies too much on external forces. If I buy something I want to actually buy it, own it, be able to hold it in my hands. If I buy something ethereal I feel like I'm getting ripped off. Which is why I have so many CDs.
Plus there is the issue of corruption, and buy that I mean, your hard drive gets corrupted for whatever reason and you have to reinstall. Assuming you only backed up your data files, (if you backed up anything at all) you just lost the only copies of all your DLCs. I guess you can re-download it, but what if there is a server failure, or your Internet is down, or worse yet the company lost everything and the server no longer exists. Am I the only one who owns really old games? Do you really think Valve will still exist in 20 or 30 years? (I say Valve but that could apply to any company.) True it's unlikely you'll care at that point, but still. Plus, even if Valve exists, Steam might have shut down due to lack of interest. You remember Microsoft's Plays for Sure DRM? It required you to call a server to play your music. Guess what happened to the server.

In all seriousness, though, I think most DLC is fairly priced. The Burnout: Paradise DLC, for example, opens up new cars, game modes, and even a new section of the map. In the end, though, it's all about your personal choice. If you want to spend the extra money, then go for it. If it's overpriced, then don't.
I love paying full price for a game and having no money left over, then the next week they come out with a juicy piece of DLC that I can't afford, It's a blast!!!

With games the price they are in australia 100 dollars RRP which is (100.00 AUD = 92.5260 USD) 92 US dollars that is the current exchange rate now i would have to say yes
