Is this a good gaming setup and will it keep pace with upcoming games?

Yeah man, awesome for people with £1000 to wank away on an i7 and a GTX 470.

OT: I'm going with other people in this thread that all you need is a GPU upgrade some point soon if you want to keep up with games. That current setup will run L4D, TF2 and SC2 fine on medium settings (higher for the source games), Crysis will struggle with a 9500 though. Some of the suggestions of the HD5770 and the like are great, I personally picked up a GTX 460 for £130 and never looked back, but it's all about what you can afford and when.

Agreed on the GPU upgrade. The 9500GT is shit. Depends how much you can spend, a 5770 is good at $150, a GTX 460 is great for $200, a 6870 is great for $250.

Also, which Phenom is that? Phenom II X4 955...?
