Joe Blancato"I'm probably the only person in the world who aggressively dislikes Diablo II." Joe Blancato narrates his adventures in Diablo, and why they made Diablo II pale in comparison.

To my amusement, I drew parallels between your journey, into the tainted underbelly of Diablo II's B.net, to the very same way the corruption took the hero from the first story. Though, I don't believe there is a level where you go out looking for girls with this tortured hero ... but perhaps I hadn't unlocked that bit.

Now, just where is that CD Key?

I hated Diablo II for different reasons. Namely, it was not a single player game. At all. They took away the save anywhere ability, and added respawning monsters. They also didn't do squat to update the graphics. That alone killed it in my book. I returned Diablo II the next day for a full refund, after playing Diablo I and Hellfire TEN TIMES THROUGH to completion.
