Hey guys, I've been practicing magic for six months or so now and I have learnt some pretty interesting tricks. These include card tricks and other, more complicated illusions. What magic tricks do you know or what have you seen that has made your jaw drop? Post a video if you can so that we can see it in action.

Here are a few of the ones I have learnt so far.

and

You'll have to excuse my horrible commentary, I'm still working on the performance aspect.

Well right now I've got a red/green aggro deck in the works and it's....
Oh you meant magic with an m not Magic with a M, quite confusing sorry.

OT: I'm not very capable when it comes to magic these days thanks to being naturally clumsy and not really having the patience to learn anything past the basics. Those small amount of tricks I did learn while I was child have been forgotten now.
I still love watching it though, went on a youtube binge the other day for magic, it's still a marvel even when you know the mechanics behind it. My favorite trick is still the classic cup trick.

Edit: Awesome clips.

How did the guy get the thread to do that? That was awesome. The shirt changing one seemed kinda lame, although that may be because of the thread one being awesome.

That guy was actually me. My eye actually hurts after the thread one... For the shirt change I couldn't think of a decent story to go along with the performance so I just went with that, with a better story the trick itself would be more appealing.

Captcha: Trolololol. That made me laugh.

I couldn't remember what the trick was called last night but I have finally found it. Shadows by Teller is one of my all time favourites.

Shadows is absolutely fantastic!
I love that trick and I go back to it every ones in a while.

Personally I only know a "false shuffle" which isn't a magic trick but more of a "show of" while dealing cards.
I read a lot on "slight of hand" a few years back but never had the nerves and time to learn any.

You should go ask a doctor if that eye trick is healthy, it's cool and all but would suck if your eye would get bad due to doing something like that.

That was a cool video. The thread trick is safe, I just need to get some cotton thread instead of polyester.

I haven't practised in years, but I used to be able to do tricks with rings and thread/rope, and cards.

I was always more interested in how the tricks are done, though, and lacked the showmanship for it, so I never performed.
