James Earl Jones, acclaimed actor and voice of Darth Vader, dies at 93

James Earl Jones, who overcame racial prejudice and a severe stutter to become a celebrated icon of stage and screen has died. He was 93.

Even discounting his likely most-famous role as the voice of Darth Vader in the Star Wars series of movies, I have to believe that everyone here has seen or heard him in something, what with his appearance in more than seventy movies and a large number of TV shows.

Extremely unfortunate, but 93 is a good age and he had an amazing career, he's a cultural icon around the world. Were we all to be so successful and to live so long.
