Idk the exact usage of posting other game websites links, but here is the quick video to it:

http://www.gametrailers.com/video/james-vega-mass-effect/726004

the one and only Freddie Prinze Jr is the voice of james vega! This will be quite interesting I think, and from the video it seems like he's a pretty big mass effect fan himself so i'm sure he'll have quite some passion into playing the character, so I'll be pretty intrigued to see how this character plays out now (even if he looks like guido #456 from mtv)

so any thoughts? maybe change your mind about vega? or hate him even more now for that fact?

My first thought was "Wow, Freddie from Scooby Doo looks pretty old now".

Every thought after that was just despair at this new meathead of a character who looks not unlike a deflated toad.

Well, I really would like to watch that video, but the useless fucking age filter won't let me type in my date of birth.

EDIT: Okay, never mind, got it.

Well, that was interesting. I don't really see why so many people seem to have something against this guy. What's this? A muscular soldier? The end times are upon us!

I noticed some interesting little details in the gameplay snippets too. An Asari husk, Captain Bailey from the citadel and... is that a another thorian?

Haven't seen that guy in a while. I remember there was a baseball movie he was in that I liked a lot. I'm just a sucker for anything baseball [sub](Except for the god damn irrelevant Hall of Fame and the voter's treatment of Jeff Bagwell).[/sub]

He was Fred Jones in the Scooby Doo movie. That's not a very good background, actually. Even though I did like that movie, but mostly for reasons not having to do with its actual quality.

Oh no, a marine who looks like he's actually done some physical training! He clearly can't be a well written or defined character!

At least he's not a blond woman on the box art and has a customizable appearance in-game. Then he would really be a bad character.

He's a cool guy. But I was hoping Tim Allen would voice Vega.

Of course I'm joking. We all know it should have been Justin Bieber's voice over debut.

Blonde? I thought the red-headed female Shepard is going to be on the box.

Fixed it for you.

They've shipped merch to stores. They're using Red femshep. She's on the back of the Collector's tin case.

He hasn't been in many good movies. Though I haven't been paying much attention to films the last 2 or 3 years, so he could have snuck something in.

He acted decently in the Spider-Man trilogy.

Never mind. Wrong person. Him and James Franco look alike.

Screw the new guy, did you see that gameplay footage? That shit looks amazing. I was kinda expecting the third installment curse to strike again here, but this game looks better than the second and first in every way.

I sincerely hope it isn't another one of those massive assholes.
Same thoughts here; unless he turns out to be Generic US Marine/Army Ranger/Delta Force/Space Marine #1,000,000,000,000,000, then I'm all for another soldier type, especially after the previous game's complement on the Normandy 2, aka The Mobile Normandy Sanatorium for Mentally Unstable and Bitchy People. The fact he talks about his career and why he does what he does and all that jazzle, is good enough for me; the reason I hate the stereotype soldier is that there is nothing to them; you see a smug asshole prance around for several hours and get a happily ever after at the end.

I am curious as to who else new is joining the crew this time around because I imagine its more than just Vega.

Anyway, I should get back to some calibrations...
