Trying to equate the visceral reaction people have with rape versus murder doesn't really accomplish much. There are strong personal opinions that generally overwhelm approaching certain issues without emotional attachment.
That said, a lot of the posters here are advocating thought-policing. It's a slippery slope to decide what's best for another person in your own town, let alone another person in a different country/culture, about what they should or shouldn't be allowed to play based on your personal moral system.
I don't condone or like the idea of a rape game, but I don't think they should be banned just because the subject matter is uncomfortable.
