A suit of Master Chief armor would have been a better investment in the first place. What a fucking awful, sexist, materialistic and straight-up stupid tradition engagement rings are.

That's actually what I did with some of the money I was saving for the wedding, a $5,000 handmade katana, jewel of my collection. In hindsight I probably should have spent it all on a car, but it was just so cathartic to cut up a ton of tatami at that time. I also finished off my student loan payments.Dimitriov said:

Overall, pretty good call on his part, women come and go, spartan armor is forever...
for serious though, sucks for him, but at least he didn't marry her before "stupid selfish *****" mode turned on, and left him with a divorce and half his shit gone, and now he has awesome cosplay gear, and nobody to *****/nag at him about stupid stuff... win/win/win achieved!

The article doesnt say anything about the woman cheating, so why is everyone jumping to that conclusion without evidence?
This thing happens in relationships, and as much as it hurts it doesnt make someone a cheating *****.
