Jhonen Vasquez in my opinion is an excellent artist and has made some wonderful graphic novels. Johnny The Homicidal Maniac has to be my favorite that he has made. Squee is another great character as well.

My favorite JTHM comic is when Johnny slaughters the entire night club while listening to Beethoven. I just thought it was a great and funny part in the book.

I really hope Funimation does an anime based off JTHM. I think it would be great.

How many other people here like JTHM and what are your favorite parts from the graphic novel? Feel free to talk about other comics as well not just ones done by Vasquez.

Any of the conversations with the Doughboy. Though, to be fair, it's been a while since I've read them...

I love "Everything Can Be Beaten". Such a lovely children's book. If I ever have kids, they're getting raised on stuff like that

Roman Dirge, responsible for Lenore, and who worked closely with Vasquez, is fantastic, and adorable.

They made Lenore animations, which were awful, imo, from voice acting to animation ._.

But the comics are really very, very good.

I was somewhat friends with a kid who loved Johnny. All I got into was Zim though. Too bad Nick does not like showing good shows other than Spongebob.

I was a really big fan of I Feel Sick. Then again, I was a big fan of any of the time Devi made an appearance in JTHM. There was just something I really liked about that character.

Ann Guish also hit a little too close to home at the time it came out.
