Why can't he dress up as a character I don't like for once? Can no one put on a Hello Kitty mask before they colombine the whole place up?

Damn ninjas, ninja-ing everything I wanted to say.

Hmm... I still need to get a purple suit. For burning various public buildings Hallowe'en, and any hero/villain themed parties.

Stupid Irish news! Why are we only finding out about this now when it happened over a year ago!?
This happened yesterday.
Not according to the Irish Independant;

"Christopher Clancy (19) of Cherrywood Grove, Clondalkin, pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to arson at Colaiste Chillian on the Old Nangor Road on May 10, 2009."

They only decided to write about it yesterday.

This Clancy person is an idiot in more ways than one. The Joker couldn't give a flying rat's ass about friends. Why not go for something more original, like dressing up as The Firefly. Now there's an arsonist's rolemodel.

I can't see them going on an anti-Batman crusade because... it's Batman. It would be like starting a fight with a global religion. No one will listen.

This tells us one thing..... Batman is deffinitely in Ireland for some reason.

Also, the joker would have come up with something much more creative then merely arson.

Joker Sets His High School On Fire

Arson is no joke, even when it's committed by a man dressed as the Joker.

Politicians that blame comic books and videogames for society's ills may have a new real-world example to use in their arguments for getting rid of anything fun. An Irish man was recently caught red-handed burning down his former high school dressed as the Joker. Arson everywhere is soon to be blamed on the existence of Batman.

The Joker is Batman's longtime arch nemesis and may have risen to a new level of popularity thanks to Heath Ledger's portrayal of him in the mega-hit movie The Dark Knight. Christopher Clancy of Clondalkin, Ireland attempted to get into the spirit of the comic book/movie villainy by dressing up as the Joker, pouring gasoline around his high school, and lighting it on fire.

When police arrived on the scene they saw a man dressed "in a purple suit, with green hair, a white face and red painted lips," just like the Joker. "He then told us to go around the corner and we would see what he had done," police said. Clancy was upset because he believed the school was "run by hypocrites" and says he "didn't like the way they treated my friends."

Clancy's arson reportedly caused more than $1 million in damages, which is a pretty lame act when it comes to Joker standards. If the Joker was mad at the way a school treated his "friends," he would have just blown up the entire school while everyone was in it, including his friends. This was obviously an attempt to get attention or just misguided teenage anger. Totally lame Clancy, totally lame.

Seriously, where are the school psychologist in Ireland? Out drinking in a Pub? I do believe that some kid need counseling and while he's on the school ground, the school can force the kid to see them. Some of those Tragedies like Columbine would have been averted.

OK, this problem is easily solved.

1. We arrange for the man dressed as the Joker to escape from prison. He's the joker, it shouldn't be that hard.
2. Wait for him to commit a new crime, preferably against the people saying that Batman causes criminal activity in youth.
3. Have a man dressed as Batman stop him.
4. Argue to the inevitable Anti-Batman League of Reactionaries that without Batman, they would all be on fire or something.
5.....Profit? I don't really get that meme.

If he doesn't have the guts to threaten someone with a knife in their face while going on a diatribe of his miserable life-experiences with a smile on his face, he's not the Joker.

...wait...on secon thought, I'd rather not give anyone any bright ideas. :p
