A normal person would never be extradited for sexual assault charges.

It's solely because of political motivation that this whole bullshit is happening.

That's nice, but . . . evidence?
There I was thinking you might rebut my argument with some intricate mental acrobatics, but it was merely a request to link you to things that I came across by searching the internet for pertinent facts to a well documented affair.

For broad outline and timeline,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assange_v_Swedish_Prosecution_Authority

For the Expert's report,
http://www.scribd.com/doc/48396086/Assange-Case-Opionion-Sven-Erik-Alhem

For broad information on extraordinary rendition,

For a glimpse into complicity of rendition and some of the more infamous examples,
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/interactive/2011/aug/31/rendition

For political motivation against Assange,

For the rest, I can't really link you to the ridiculous number of pages trawled through,
http://www.google.co.uk/

For evidence of frothing mouths and cretins,

Please, do let me know if you have any more intriguing criticisms, as reacquainting myself with all this data and reasons to sneer at the US and other politicians is quite enjoyable.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the fact that there has been a buildup of a "Cult of personality" behind him? I mean, if something happens to him that shouldn't signal the end of free will, just increase the public will to do more among those who support him. It wouldn't end with him, is what I am saying.

I think that is what I like about the concept (note, Concept. Concepts are usually different from reality) of Anon, is that no one man gets all the glory.

I find my feeling of this strange due to my slightly-right leaning moderate views.
I agree with you, there has been a rather disheartening rise in Assange being called the Master of Free Media or something like that. However, we did see this with Anonymous, where the authorities went after any hacker and brandished them as Anon, or we had second rate computer geeks trying to take down a site and claiming to be Anon.
Human beings, in general, are too proud to do the whole, for humanity thing.
It shouldn't detract from the fact that it was Assange who created the idea of WikiLeaks, and that this cult of celebrity was started by the media outlets and government officials, because it is very difficult to argue competently against the free dissemination of infomation and the accountability of government, so the way to make WikiLeaks look bad, was elevate Assange to some quasi-Messianic level and then release some shocking news about him, or even contrive it if need be, like they have been known to do in the past.
