Kim Kardashian as Lara Croft?

I don't see it working mainly because Lara's Ass-to-Boob ratio far favors top-heaviness whereas Kim is the opposite. Also, Lara is perfectly capable of hiding her facial herpes. Kim would be better suited for a film adaptation of X-Blades
I know I'm a crazy cynic who just crawleed out from under a rock and has been too long out in the sun, but, how about. You know. An english person plays the part?

I don't get all the outrage. Lara Croft's main character attributes have always been really superficial. She's not really a deep complex character and I can't really see anyone being attached to the character outside of nostalgia (well, that or some sort of weird sexual possessiveness).
I mean, it's not like she's going to ruin this great franchise, so whats the big deal?

I also thought they only got a new one and hadn't even put her in any movies yet. But If its only for modelling whats the problem. The laura croft in the game generally doesnt change. Isn't that what people care about? Games? or is Laura Croft actually just about the sexual attraction? Seeing as how the Tomb Raider films are terrible and these new ones will probably be just as bad, I don't really care who they cast as long as she is hot.

My opinion: I think she could pull it off. She has the whole sex appeal thing going for her, and if she can read lines and act without looking stupid, she may outshine Jolie.
Plus, to me, Jolie looks like a straw doll with oranges for boobs and fat lips (though she's the superior actress).
