well i stand corrected and i punched that five dollar bill.KeyMaster45 said:They've already shown one in that trailer to be the Hunch Back of Notre Dame. (the massive belfry was a dead give away) Considering that they seem to want to drop us off of lots of high places I wonder if this means we will get a Great Mouse Detective world with a fight on the clock hands of Big Ben.Gamegodtre said:5 bucks says no new worlds
Also we're not getting three until the KH team finish making FF13 versus, which is looking like somewhere between never and "pfft, hell if we know".
I wish they get that damn versus game over and done with already. It's been how many years now? Sheesh...KeyMaster45 said:They've already shown one in that trailer to be the Hunch Back of Notre Dame. I'm not too fond of their habit of re-using previous environments and making a title out of a minuscule bit of story, but the new combat mechanics make me kind of looking forward to this one. Plus, one of those worlds is Paris in Hunchback of Notre-Dame, my all-time favourite Disney movie.
Oh nostalgia.. the things you make me buy.
Er... the belltower in question is clearly the clock tower from Twilight Town.Number-14 said:Even though I'm not excited for the game to be released, watching the video gave me nostalgia. Awwww man Kingdom Hearts, thought it was the most epic of the epic games back then.
They're going to make a Hunch Back World ?! I wish they're would've put that earlier, I love that movie.
Dude have you watched the video to the end? at 1:40 you see Sora running through a series of bells which is just like the cathedral in Hunchback. Also while he's falling down you see the city of Paris plus the balloons of that festival.Lvl 64 Klutz said:Mamzelle_Kat said:Another Kingdom Hearts title. Still looks like Twilight Town to me. It is a little hard to tell, but other than the slightly familiar skyline, it also looks more like the Twilight Town train station than a cathedral right before he lands.Mamzelle_Kat said:Dude have you watched the video to the end? at 1:40 you see Sora running through a series of bells which is just like the cathedral in Hunchback. it's just an effect bro. they use borders like that for a few of their games(358days,recode,bbs). also they arent trying too hard, its just another game leading up to the final one which is just building up the excitement even more. your just bunched bcuz its for a whole new system, which i understand bcuz i feel the same way. but if it were just for a ps2 or ps3 for the whole series you probably wouldnt even be aggrivated at all. i understand if the different game systems bug you, but u shouldnt take it out on the series itself. its one of the most well put together storylines in a videogame series and after all the games are finished the story's gonna be great. so yea just cool off and hang in there brotha.Faladorian said:Never been a big fan of Kingdom hearts, and that doesn't look 3D, it looks like a kaleidoscope. (I know it will look 3D on the system, but for a teaser trailer the insect-eye view is unnecessary).
Also, Dream Drop Distance = You're trying too hard. Reminds me of when I was a kid, trying to make acronyms out of things. "Let's see... SODA. Such Obligatory Delicious Ascension." It never made any sense, and Dream Drop Distance doesn't really seem to either.
Of course, there's obviously a translation barrier. See Donkey Kong.
The fact that it's one the DS has nothing to do with it.ryedog6 said:it's just an effect bro. they use borders like that for a few of their games(358days,recode,bbs). also they arent trying too hard, its just another game leading up to the final one which is just building up the excitement even more. your just bunched bcuz its for a whole new system, which i understand bcuz i feel the same way. but if it were just for a ps2 or ps3 for the whole series you probably wouldnt even be aggrivated at all. i understand if the different game systems bug you, but u shouldnt take it out on the series itself. its one of the most well put together storylines in a videogame series and after all the games are finished the story's gonna be great. so yea just cool off and hang in there brotha.Faladorian said:Never been a big fan of Kingdom hearts, and that doesn't look 3D, it looks like a kaleidoscope.
