Kingdom Hearts III and HD 2.8 Final Prologue Teased in New Trailer

Next two titles in crossover series hyped.

Square Enix has released a new trailer featuring their upcoming Kingdom Hearts titles at the Jump Festa event this weekend in Tokyo, Japan.

The bulk of the new video is dedicated to cutscene content from Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, a high-definition remake of the 2012 Nintendo 3DS entry Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. Due to release exclusively on PlayStation 4 in 2016, Final Chapter Prologue also includes Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover, a set of cinematics filling in more history for the series, and Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth By Sleep - A Fragmentary Passage, a short bonus chapter set before the events of the first game in the series which will tie into the forthcoming Kingdom Hearts III

As for the third main installment, the last two minutes of the video features gameplay footage of that, showing some more combat action with the core team of Sora, Donald and Goofy. In it, we see Sora use an ability which allows him to target multiple enemies and execute an attack launching him from one to the next. A vehicle is also summoned in combat, switching the action to a first-person shooting mini-game.

No release date has yet been provided for Kingdom Hearts III, which is currently in development for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

I wonder if they'll do a super collection of all the collections. That'd be neat. Maybe when KH3 Final Mix gets made they'll do that.
It's would be in the form of a super-special awesome Collector's Edition, which would [also] include every remastered soundtrack, figurines of all seven Keyblade Warriors, the biggest art book page-wise, and a one-of-a-kind life-size keyblade signed and notarized by Nomura himself... Too bad it would be 1000 bones, only sold at one designated website, and less than 1111 would be made exclusively for the PS4+ and just for the PS4+... :p

OT: Huh... I think some of that extra footage was shown at the D23 event...

Other than that, flowmotion shocklocks? *squees to Oblivion and Oathkeeper*
