Kingdoms of Amalur without Origin?

Ok, so today I picked up a copy of Kingdoms of Amalur for the PC. I got it home and went to install it, only to find out that I need Origin installed to play it. Now, I have my reasons for not wanting Origin on my PC and i'm not gonna get into that. What I would like to know is; is there a way for me to install/play this game on my PC without having to install Origin?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you bought it through Steam you wouldn't need to install Origin on your computer.

I understand that, but I also like having physical copies of my games. Not big into the whole digital distribution thing.

Considering that the game is up on torrent sites, it would appear that the gamefaqs link is wrong.

You already payed for it. The way I see it, there is no harm in acquiring a different version that doesn't include Origin.

There are non-Origin and non-Steam patches for everey game out there, I just can't link them legally so ask uncle google.
